D'Addario CinchFit: Acoustic Jack Lock

This is an excellent answer for my needs. Acoustics with electric pick up end pin jacks are always too big around to fit a strap. The strap always twists out the end pin. I tried cutting the strap but you either make it too big or still too tight. This cinchfit solves that problem immediately and nicely. See video. I just got an Alverez AEG80CE Grand Auditorium and hated twisting this nice LR Baggs stage pro element pick up so I bought this cinchfit. Excellent! It definitely fits this pick up end pin!!! I also really like taking my strap off when I put it in my case/gig bag. I don't want the strap chaffing my lower bout sides so I've always added a microfiber cloth between strap and guitar, it's just a hassle and it grows old. But no more! This simple little cinchfit just worked perfectly from the start and I will buy another when I can for my Taylor. No more twisting the end pin and having to place a cloth between strap and guitar is very well justified, especially for the price. Sure beats the Luthier expense for repair or refinish. Fair delivery time and easily installs. Save your axe no matter what the value because it should always matter. Hope this helps you.

This straplock fits around the combo endpin/jack for an acoustic pickup. It allows the instrument to be plugged in while still keeping a tight lock between the strap and the guitar. I disliked it at first. The device spins easily around the endpin, which initially gave me the impression that it was only loosely secured. That was false. Turns out, this thing is so cleverly engineered, that it's a bit of a pain to get *OFF* of the end pin. Not so bad that it's to be avoided, but enough to make me confident that my instrument is secure. And because the lock device has low-friction pads and is attached to the guitar via a short nylon cord, that "loose" feeling is actually the feeling of *less* friction between my leather strap and the guitar. After having it on my expensive Larivee for a year, I just bought two more for my other acoustics.

I use this on my Gibson J45. The plug in jack is too wide for a regular stap to fit it. So I ordered this and now I can use what ever strap I want without worrying about it coming loose.

I'm a fan of lock-it straps but they don't fit over most of my guitars that have endpin jacks. I'm always uncomfortable that other straps that do fit over endpin jacks are gonna slip off, because they have. This thing makes me feel secure that my guitar is not gonna come loose from the strap. It gives me the "where have you been my whole life" vibe. Simple, but brilliant. It works! EDIT UPDATE : doesn't fit all in pen jacks

Great, inexpensive, and non permanent solution to securely attach a strap to your acoustic/electric guitar. I was hesitant, but this is the answer. Bought several for all my acoustics/electrics.

This is such a clever solution to the problem of straps fitting around the output jacks of acoustic guitars with pickups. I previously used a knife or scissor to expand the opening of guitar straps, which worked but was still hard to squeeze on to the jack plus didn't feel as secure as I wanted. I considered the Acousti-Lok system but that requires using Schaller strap locks and sometimes doesn't fit well in hardshell cases, so I thought I'd give this a try first. Gotta say, it's so easy to use and remove, and it just works!

They're OK, but I wouldn't trust them in a real pro music setting. They do slip open. My guitar has fallen out. It's amateurish. OK for home studio stuff I guess.

I lived in ignorance not knowing this existed, suffering over the fear that my guitar would fall off the strap precisely during an emotionally paralyzing chord change when my mind and soul were distracted by a moment of zen. I have now reached inner peace while playing. There are two versions. Make sure you get the correct one for your guitar.

Tut was es soll. Bin auch nach mehreren Jahren sehr zufrieden. Ist nie aufgegangen oder sonst irgendwas gewesen.

It does the function very well. Ignore the comment that it comes off easily; it will come off if that's what you're trying to do! It won't come off while playing! Best way to save your straps from stretching the hole end.

Quality is very high, returned due to not my use case. But go for it if you need one.
