Build quality is acceptable
The battery runs out quite fast No option to turn it on while it's on cable And the heating mechanism is slower than the traditional heat gun

Great for emergencies
I own a semi. I keep this in my toolbag as space is limited. It doesn't last that long but then again you shouldn't expect it to. Anything that heats uses alot of energy. Nice and compact and works as it should. Nice feature: the charge port is the same as my phone.

Seems to do heatshrink which was it's intended purpose, first charge only put in 3/4 but it worked on initial use, perhaps 1/2 the rate of a lighter but if it lasts for 1 job/charge it'll do what it's supposed to. Shrunk a heat tube outside in a snowstorm so good nuff. It doesn't melt solder
