Q: Are these China sizing or American sizing ??

I would say china sizing. I normally wear size large/XL and I needed size 2xl in this but let me tell you, it’s worth the purchase!! I own like 6 in all the different colors and wear it under my clothes daily!

Q: Can someone please explain to me the purpose of pulling this up your body and over your hips and butt as opposed to putting it on like a normal tank

Either way in order for it to work properly it needs to be tight and the material has very little give so it’s not easy to put on when used as a shaper garment The recommendation of putt it on from the bottom up is a good one for anyone with an inverted triangle figure, while for a pear shaped person it is easier to put it on as the tank top

Completely agree! It was a gamble for me that turned out to be wonderful. I wear a 38K (UK)/ 38O (US) and purchased a 3X tank. While it is not a substitute for a bra, it makes my back feel great, helps to support these massive "gifts" and smooths out some stuff.
