I bought this because I used to use the roller pizza cutter. The problem with that is that it smushes the toppings and spoils the pizza slices honestly. It drags the cheese and toppings with it as it rolls and it is very sharp as well. So you can't use it on plastic cutting boards (esp with microplastics it is best to use wood boards or stone ones like granite topped which are best). This one has the right size to cut a 12" pizza and worked amazingly well. it simply rolls over the pizza and you can make easy great pizza cuts. The quality is fantastic and the blade isn't sharp so it is safe for kids to use too. The unit stows easily and cleans easily too. Overall this is a fantastic purchase for home made pizza lovers

Very sharp blade, cuts the pizza perfect! It is easy to grip. This blade works best on a flat surface. Be sure to wash the blade off right away if it has a lot of melted cheese on it because it sticks and dries fast. This works so much better than a traditional round pizza cutter. I recommend using this cutter.

So much better than a pizza wheel. No more dislodging toppings when cutting a pizza. Rocker cuts right through in one "rock". Easy to clean too.

It does what it’s intended to do. Better than using a roller which tends to have the toppings slide along while it’s cutting.

So I am sure that everyone has used a pizza cutter of various types and know they have an edge, but not always sharp. DO NOT BE CARELESS with this one. This pizza cutter is a knife. It comes with a blade cover for a VERY good reason. First time I used it, I did not realize that it cut through the parchment paper under the pizza until I saw 8 very clean and perfect sliced shaped cuts under it. The reason for my post, it last night, while I was cleaning it after using it, I was just wiping it down to get it clean after running some water on it. Put the cover back on it and back into its drawer. Grabbed my tray of pizza, sat down, started to have some, and 5 mins later realize that my pinky finger is bleeding. Not gushing, but a very good and clean cut. I never saw or felt it or even noticed till I saw the blood. This is NOT the fault of the product. I want to make that 100% clear, BUT this is not something that you give anyone without realizing this is a 16" heavy SHARP knife. I firmly believe you can papercut yourself just running your finger along the blade and never even notice it. Excellent product, but use with same caution as you would with any proper kitchen knife. I am eager to see how long the blade stays this sharp and how easy/difficult it will be to get the edge back afterwards.

The only way to cut pizza. I tend to make my pizza in a rectangular shape, so this is the perfect tool to cut through it easily.

Just used this item for the first time today. Very impressed with how well it worked. I did find I needed a bit more pressure near the edges of pizza crust ( but I’m short so it wasn’t the cutter, it was me) so glad to have a cutter that works well, quickly, and does the job right.
