How are the opacity on these compared to the yellow mattes? do double faced cards show through? tia!

These sleeves do not show anything on the back, not for double sided cards and not for the regular back of the cards. These dual sleeves from Dragon Shield have a color on the back, in the Lightning ones is yellow, and black on the front of the back side (hence the name dual) which specifically addresses the transparency issues with other sleeves.
