I love this!
This has made popcorn popping so easy! You just put in some popcorn kernels, pop on the lid and throw it in the microwave and hit the popcorn setting (or equivalent depending on your microwave). Out comes nice fresh hot popcorn ready for butter or whatever topping you want. You can eat it right out of the container. I have several air poppers and the popcorn is always chewy and stale textured with them, but this popper has perfect textured popcorn. Light and fluffy with more kernels popped and less waste. I really recommend!

It Pops!
What a great way to enjoy popcorn with adding a pinch of salt and virgin oil spray to hot popcorn and just relaxing.

Okay Popcorn Bowl, Maybe?
I REALLY WANTED TO LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I really did, but I'm not sure that I do. Actually, I do know that I don't like it, I'm just still trying to give it the benefit of the doubt and chop it up to a user error. I don't think it was user error though, as my husband tried it to and it also didn't work. The popper is the size we were expecting. The feeling of it itself made me uneasy, like a silicone which I just don't like the feeling of, but that's a personal issue. I read the directions. Washed and dried it first. Filled it with kernels (oil wasn't required) and put it in the microwave. Turned it on and waited patiently for the pops to start. Which NEVER started. There was no noise. There was no burning. There was nothing. Just kernels that scalded my hand when I removed the popper to see if anything had happened. Yes, my fault for touching the kernels, but I mean if they were scalding hot why didn't they pop, I will never know. My husband tired with a different bag of kernels and the same thing happened. Nothing. So, for my review I'm not even able to speak on the taste because we tasted nothing. We tried one more time a few days later adding some oil and well we got a few pops that time, but again it still didn't function as it should. We have heated the popper three time with no pops, but the popper has held up thus far. It has been in a cabinet now for a while and it is still in good shape so is it durable? Yeah. Does it pop kernels, maybe. Were our kernels old? Possibly I guess, but who really knows as we bought them at a flea market on vacation. In our defense it was an Amish kept section, and it all seemed to be of high quality, so I never would have thought they might be bad. Do kernels even go bad? Regardless, will we try again in a few weeks. Yeah probably. Do we need to buy different kernels. Well yeah probably. We shall see (

Off and Poppin’!
My paternal grandparents were popcorn farmers, so we grew up eating it EVERY NIGHT. As an adult in my 60s, still at it. Hubby and I buy a 50-lb bag a couple of times a year. This Popco Popcorn Maker takes just 3 tablespoons of kernels to pop up a nice sized bowl of fluffy, light, delicious popcorn so fast…in under 3 minutes! The biggest bonus for us as we watch our waistlines is that NO OIL is needed!!! At first I thought the cost a bit exorbitant, but I was willing to give it a try. Worth EVERY PENNY!!! I LOVE that it smashes down to easily store without taking up a lot of space AND that it’s so easy to clean!!! It’s a fraction of the size of my 25-year-old official popcorn pot! Sized just right!!! No oily mess, no gross additives like in prepackaged popcorn, no worries about burned kernels, and very few unpopped kernels. Safer, too, as I have burned myself, my niece, and the dog over the years when popping in the stove.😬 We plan to take it with us on trips so we can pop popcorn in the hotel microwave!!! I am 100% sold on this and give it 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up!👍🏾 👍🏾

Not too shabby
Love that this popcorn popper was easy to clean and store and overall like it for the price and ease of use. However this was a very trial and error type product. In my opinion, this is what you should do to get the most popcorn popped in this bowl without a ton of wasted product and minimize chances of burning - fill with popcorn kernels to a just past the first line at the bottom of the bowl. Pour popcorn specific oil (think Orville Redenbacher's butter oil/topping for popcorn) over kernels and stir to be sure all are coated. Microwave until popping slows down significantly. Here are the methods I tried before deciding on this method. For each time I tried, I filled the bowl with kernels to the top most line where you should get a full/overflowing bowl of popcorn. The methods I tried: Popcorn kernels with no oil like the instructions suggest - most amount of popcorn popped, it came closest to overflowing the bowl by the time the popping slowed in the microwave. There was a significant layer of mild/moderate burning in the popcorn that wound up in the middle of the bowl. Still mostly edible though. Lots of unpopped kernels at the bottom, maybe around 1/4 of what I added. Popcorn kernels with olive oil - the worst trial of the bunch. Far too burnt to eat, this batch was tossed immediately. I imagine it would have been successful if we had stirred them around so this was probably just been user error. I figured I would add it in anyway to tell you what not to do lol. Popcorn kernels with popcorn specific butter flavored oil (think Orville redenbacher popcorn oil/topping) - had the most success with this. I added the kernels then oil and stirred to make sure all were coated. Popcorn popped to close to the top edge of the bowl before popping slowed down. Only a handful of very mildly burnt pieces of popcorn however there were still lots of unpopped kernels.
