Great tool for the price
I use it in the inspection industry which means visibility isn't always the greatest but I can read this easily. This tool is light and compact. That was my main concern. Some inspection tools have writing that is very difficult to read even with glasses.

A step up from cheaper V-Wac gauge.
I got a V-Wac for work, but it read in metric and was not of great quality, so I never used it. I got this gauge and it's my go-to for measuring undercut. The pin is adjustable so you can have the point tight or loose and measures to the 64th and has holes for porosity measurement. Get this if you are an inspector and want a reliable tool for years.

Very Useful
Definitely a great tool to have during self inspections on own welds before final inspection. Worth the money spent compared to the the $14-15 dollar one that come In the mail bent.

Great tool
Top notch instrument. Very high-quality, very sturdy, and you can tell it’s been Percision engineered. If you want nice gauges that you’re going to take care of and these are the ones to get.

Excellent quality
GAL is number one for a reason. This gauge is stainless steel and built to last. It is easy to use and always handy when inspecting welds. This and a set of fillet gauges and you can’t go wrong.

It's a good gauge
The tips of the arm are slightly curled but not enough to effect accuracy. The numbers and lines are laser etched and sufficient. It's a good gauge.
