My wife and I have added these seeds to our overall healthy eating regiment and are very pleased with the results. However, we discovered almost immediately that these are very different from pumpkin, sesame and other commons seeds. Fenugreek seeds are rock hard. You can't take the whole seeds out of the bag and just pop them into your mouth......unless you are trying to break your teeth. The only way to eat the seeds whole is after soaking them in water or some sort of liquid overnight, or perhaps in hot water for at least 30 minutes. We mostly take the whole seeds and toss a good amount into a small blender. We then blend the whole seeds into a powder and they can then be added to whatever food or drink you prefer and eaten right away. We add between 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per day of the powder to yogurt, or oatmeal or soup. The whole seeds have a bitter-ish taste, but blending them into a powder softens that a bit. As with any healthy food, you must be consistent and eat them on a regular basis to see any noticeable and sustained improvements.
