How big are the pieces? Im looking to amake a quiet book and I'm wondering if you could use these on a single page.

The barn is the largest piece and is approx 5”x4”... most of the pieces are 1 to 2”... also the farm boy is 5” to 6” tall. They would make a great quiet book, but maybe would have to limit them to fit on just one page. I made a felt board for them and they were somewhat hard to stay stuck on the board. The colors and characters are very nicely done. Good luck on your project!

Would these pieces hold up in water?

I have not tried to put in water since it’s not meant to be in water but can’t imagine it gets damaged by it. I think flannel is water repellent and might float.

How many peices come with this set?

I think there are 18 total. An absolute favorite of my grandson . A great item to have on a long car trip. Many teaching opportunities.

Does this come with a felt board?

You can make a wonderful flannel board cheaper than any flannel/felt board on Amazon. No offense Amazon. Go to You Tube. They have lots of tutorials. I made one using 2 16×20 canvas boards. All of my materials were about $20 and it is sturdy and portable. Look on You Tube for the Home and Family Show flannel/felt boards tutorial. If I can make one, any body can.
