I like the long barrel as I have medium length hair and I don’t have to “stack” hair to fit it all on the barrel. I like the 1” diameter because my hair is hard to get to hold a curl on even a 1.25” barrel, the curl is too loose and falls out. This one is great. It heats up fast and has various heat settings, a swivel cord……It’s Babyliss……what’s not to love!

Best curling iron I've ever owned. Heats super fast and has halved the time it usually takes to curl medium to long hair. The weight and feel of the product is indicative that the materials and construction are hight quality and meant to last. Well worth the money.

Love the extended barrel, excellent for curling larger sections and longer hair. My two issues are the plastic end of the barrel is hard and smooth, it slips because you can’t get a firm grip, and gets very hot. My chi iron doesn’t do that, it has a soft rubber end great for gripping, and it’s fully heat resistant. Second. The cord is a bit too short, wish it was 6 inches longer to have room all around the client’s chair, rather than having to turn the chair to accommodate the length. Other than those two issues, it’s an excellent iron and works extremely well!
