Keeps it hot
This is a nice carafe and keeps my coffee hot for about 5 hours. I started to use this as I now use a percolator for making coffee after having my 3 Keurig break with only a year of use. So once the percolated coffee is done I can transfer to the carafe and it keeps it hot and does not interrupt the taste of the coffee.

Great Quality for keeping drinks Hot
This is a very good product that we recently bought. It kept the coffee and tea hot for a very long time. It's easy to use and very sturdy and stable.

We have had this for about six months. We had gotten it to replace our previous zojirushi model which we had dropped and broken. This one was all metal so we figured it was more durable. We have been using it for about six months now and are somewhat disappointed. It is smaller and lighter in weight and very easy to use which was good. It didn't keep the coffee hot as long as our previous model but did keep it hot for about 4-5 hours. Now, after six months time, we noticed that it is starting to retain coffee in the lid. When we remove the lid and hold it a bit off level, coffee streams out of the lid onto the counter. To prevent a mess, we have to be very careful how we are holding the lid or else do it over the sink. We also need to be careful if we are in the car and checking how much is still in the container or even trying to refill it with coffee from the containers at service stations while traveling. I think it would be a great carafe to use at a meal and have on the table for everyone to serve themselves. It is a bit less desirable if you use it throughout the day at home or if you take it with you as you are traveling. If it wasn't for the mess with taking the lid off for any reason, I could deal with the cooler coffee and it would still be a great carafe.

Good carafe w/great customer service
I ordered this item on 6/22/2021 and received it promptly through Amazon; the carafe has worked very well for my purposes (holding pots of coffee primarily); understandably it makes a definite difference whether you pre-heat or pre-cool the carafe beforehand and whether you're pouring individual cups now and then or whether you're keeping a full carafe unopened throughout the day. With pouring individual cups sporadically (coffee), I find that it will typically keep my coffee hot throughout a full working day, assuming that I preheat it first. I do drink my coffee black, so if you like to add cool cream/s and such, I do not know whether the heat at the end of the day would be sufficient for your taste. I have not really used it for keeping things cool, but, since that tends to work better than keeping things heated, I would expected to have no issues. I have had two (2) issues with this carafe, the first is relatively minor, but can be an annoyance if you're not careful; due to the design, there tends to be a small amount of fluid that sits inside the lid between pours, which will then 'pour out' when you tilt the carafe, irregardless of whether you open it with the lever - so make sure you're holding it over whatever you're pouring it into... The 2nd issue was more critical, in that the thing simply 'failed' about 5-6 weeks after it initially arrived, a week or two after Amazon's return period. My guess would be that the vacuum seal failed, as I could feel the heat readily radiating through the side of the carafe. I reached out to Cresimo through Amazon messaging and they responded very quickly and respectfully, sending me a replacement without any hassle or trouble. The replacement continues to work fine to date and I am pleased with this purchase.

Works as an excellent, affordable replacement for my Technivorm Moccamaster carafe
This carafe works really well. I’ve only used it for hot coffee but it keeps the coffee super hot and it pours as you would want and expect. In case this helps someone: I bought this carafe to replace the original thermal carafe that came with my older Technivorm Moccamaster coffee maker. Somehow the original carafe lost its ability to keep coffee hot, even though it properly maintained its vacuum seal. The Technivorm carafe is about 3X the cost of the Cresimo. The Cresimo’s diameter is a perfect fit, but it is about 1/8” too tall to fit under the filter holder, which is attached with two screws. Elongating the plastic filter holder’s screw holes to allow the filter holder to be raised 1/8” was quick and easy with a drill; the Cresimo will slide right into place without obstruction or tilting. I also like the ease of pouring cleanly compared to the Technivorm OEM carafe which can be sloppy if you’re not careful.

I so wanted to love these...
For reference, I have owned and run a small town coffee shop in SWFL since 2007-I buy products and equipment to use as advertised-in a professional capacity-not as a novelty item to 1-up my neighbors at the next HOA meeting I happen to host. I gave these a try after being fed up with paying $50-$70 dollars for BUNN airpots...I had used BUNN or Fetco for years-and they had always been reliable, durable, and overall worth the cost...but then the last two-three times I had ordered some to have as extras/back-ups/spares-at least one arrived damaged straight out of the box. The thing was-because they were not immediately needed-they were not opened immediately, and tested (something I now try to make sure I do with any kind of thermos I buy). They were stored high on a shelf in the stock room-until needed-only to find out then-when needed- that it was not working-and you guessed it-I was outside the return window. That was it-out $50-$70 for something that couldn't fulfill it's one function-So I spent hours going through reviews of various airpot types, styles, sizes, etc...nothing seemed to be comparable to what I was used to getting from fetco or bunn...and then I found these from Cresimo. This was the first air-pot that I had run across that the specs matched the needs and the reviews-while mixed as they almost always are-gave me enough confidence to try them. I was a little hesitant when it arrived-noticeably more lightweight straight out of the box-and while the top was more light weight and was noticeably more cheaply made (after all these cost 1/2 the price of the ones I was replacing for rampant defects)-the internal components seemed solid; from the stainless steel, to the plastic nozzle on the siphon, the rubber seats and seals-everything seemed great. When I tested the new pot I got even more excited-I put water into it that was at the same temp as I would be putting coffee-should this thing pass the test-and not one, but two days later-the thing was still hot enough to be producing steam when I lifted the lever and pumped some of the water into a cup. - We have a winner! My search has paid off. - I ordered 3 more. One of them had to be replaced straight out of the box...not happy about it-but it happens. Return and replacement was easy and quick-I can work with that. Fast forward to barely more than half a year later-I have had to return or trash several of these-either I ordered more back-ups and couldn't test them immediately (they got stored and testing fell to the back burner) only to find out later on more than one occasion that my 'back-up(s)' was/were defective...with out any cause that I was aware of-one would turn hot to the touch when filled-so the pot is radiating heat/not holding heat...not good for coffee service. Finally had a brief spell where I wasn't replacing one for not holding its temperature only to have the little plastic arm that works as a piston on the air-bladder inside the pump head snap-on two different lids, at two different times-within two weeks of each other-and in the middle of morning rushes no less...the last one was last week, and within that week another one of those that had seemed to be holding it's all (temperature wise)-is now not holding its temperature. If they were expected to be 1-3 use items, I would expect this-but I would also expect to pay no more than $5-10 for them...at $35 a piece-if these ARE in fact supposed/expected to be used in a commercial setting at all-they should be able to last a good year or two with the occasional bump against the counter when being carried the 20 ft from the kitchen to the coffee maker-which in my case is about as far as they go/travel. I have designated pots for my storefront, and others that get used for catering jobs...and the ones traveling approximately 40 ft are as frequently if not more frequently than the ones that get loaded, jostled, and carted around on catering gigs. I have not had one complete flask/siphon/lever-handled lid survive more than three months-with most surviving far less time than that. The first time I ordered one of these was July of 2021-it is now 2nd week of February-2022...and I use 4 airpots each day, then 6 -and now 7-days a week in my small business-and occasionally an extra one or two when I pick up a catering gig. So I normally have between 5 and 7 of these on hand-and feel like I have been retiring one to the trash heap or returning one every time I turn around. As I said at the beginning of this long-winded tirade/epistle-were this something I used only on occasion-it might very well be a great product. But in a busy cafe/food business such as mine-it simply hasn't been able to hold up.

Not bad... not great.
First off, this carafe has a very solid and sturdy quality about it. The fit of the lid is very precise and secure. I only need it to keep my coffee hot long enough for me to transport it to my patio, and drink it. I don't need several hours to accomplish this, so it does a fine job of keeping my coffee up to temperature until it is finished. Cleaning it is easy enough as well. Where this carafe loses points for me has to do with how it actually dispenses the contents. The first thing you will notice when dispensing hot liquids from it, is that you must remember to relieve the built up pressure by pulling the trigger before tipping the carafe. If you do not, your first shot of coffee or tea will explode into your cup at 100 miles per hour. The second thing you will observe is that the pour is sloppy. The liquid just dribbles out in random directions, and only sometimes will form a neat, steady stream. I don't think I've ever poured a cup of coffee from this carafe without losing at least a drop or two. Third: upon returning the carafe to an upright position after pouring, you will get spillage of liquid that has collected in a gap under the lid. No matter how careful you are, it will inevitably end up on the carafe, and on your table. I was able to remedy this for the most part by filling this gap with a bead of silicone. Still, these are all things that should have been considered and corrected during the design phase. I will continue to use this item, because in all - it is okay. I would not purchase the same carafe again, however, if I were shopping for one.

Excellent
