Q: Does this lock well enough to deter pickpocketers? I want to attach it to tie two zippers of my bag

It would deter someone dipping into your bag but it would not lock it. To release it requires a simple turn of the threaded part. More importantly I think it would be too thick to go through the zippers. Hope that helps.

I don’t think so. The clip is ok for keys and what knot but I doubt that it could manage any stress at all.
