Very good quality, not watery!

I found out about these from a friend of mine. I do not like to paint with oils so these were an absolute wonder to buy!!! Blendable and beautiful.

My first try with oils - usually acrylics but I'm looking forward. I'm practicing my color mixing, blending colors, etc. and am enjoying the Lucas paints. My instructor said that it's good quality and said the price I paid was also very good. So here I go - good teacher - good paints - the sky's the limit! Good painting everyone!

I just finished my first piece using this product. I have been an artist for many, many years. I have not worked with oils in 25 years. I stopped mainly because of the toxic smell and switched to watercolor. I am recovering from cancer and have chemo induced peripheral neuropathy. I have no feeling in my fingers making difficult to paint . I felt I could paint looser in oil. I looked up water soluble oil paints on YouTube and learned quite a bit . So I ordered Lukas paint , water soluble medium and a canvas pad. I really like it. Very easy to clean up . Paint the does not have a strong smell.

I had to move my studio into my house and needed something that didn’t smell as bad as regular oils can. I bought these to try out the concept of water soluble paint. The paints are buttery textured, the colors are very clear and working with them is better than I expected. The dry time is shorter, but not like acrylics where you need to blend quickly before they dry. I will be buying more as they work perfectly for my needs. The cleanup is a breeze, and no harsh smell. There is a faint odor to the paint, but not enough to matter to me. Loving the concept and reality of water soluble oils.

Nice enjoyable paint.I’m a amateur and just paint for the shear pleasure of it.,as a hobby.A “professional” I’m not.But these are worth the price point for me,and i don’t have to deal with all that solvent,just water.

But I was truly annoyed when the paints arrived damaged. Also, there's no black, even though black is listed as one of the paints in this grouping of colors. Honestly unhappy.

These inks are so much fun. I use them when I create an underpinning.

Ottimi colori, fluidi, ci vuole molto tempo perchè asciughino,, credo lo stesso tempo dei colori a olio..

acquistato in offerta perché molto stimolata dalla possibilità di poter dipingere a olio senza dover trafficare con acquaragia e diluenti soprattutto per la pulizia dei pennelli, ma abbastanza scettica sul poterlo fare davvero! e invece... sì! esiste questa possibilità! i colori sono splendidi, luminosi e caldi come i classici, pastosi e utilizzabili come gli altri, ma diluibili con acqua! e sempre con acqua e un po' di sapone si possono pulire i pennelli,: mi sembra un sogno! consiglio a tutti quelli che sono agli inizi, hanno allergie o semplicemente non vogliono sentire odori forti e usare diluenti aggressivi! ps: fra l'altro i pennelli così curati e meno stressati durano di più!

I made a small painting using only tubes from the set. Colors are clear and vibrant. Quality is good. Maybe not the best, but nice overall.
