Your teeth will thank you.
Here is a detailed, professional review tailored to Amazon's platform that highlights your experience with the toothbrush and Philips' customer service. Having used electric toothbrushes for years, the Philips Sonicare 4100 in Deep Pink really stands out for its performance and daily usability. The cleaning power is exceptional—it leaves teeth feeling like you just walked out of a professional dental hygiene appointment every single day. The sonic vibrations easily break up plaque along the gumline and hard-to-reach areas, giving a level of clean that manual brushing simply can't match. The built-in pressure sensor is a subtle but invaluable feature, preventing over-brushing and protecting sensitive gums while ensuring you still get a thorough clean. The battery life is impressive, holding a charge for weeks at a time, and the deep pink finish adds a nice, vibrant touch to the bathroom counter without feeling overly flashy. What truly elevated my experience with this product, however, was Philips' outstanding customer service. Even after the warranty period had expired, the toothbrush developed a defect. When I reached out to their support team, they handled the situation with remarkable grace and speed, sending a replacement without any hassle. A company that stands behind its products and takes care of its customers even past the standard policy window is rare these days. Overall, the Sonicare 4100 is a fantastic investment for your dental health. Combine its top-tier cleaning performance with Philips' impressive commitment to customer satisfaction, and it’s easily a five-star product.

really great sonic toothbrush for my college kid meets/exceeds all expectations!
While we have had a family sonic toothbrush for years now, I got this one from Philips to send off to college with my daughter this fall. In pink, of course! It is definitely an upgrade for her from our home model, and the streamlined design, long-lasting charge, and USB charging have impressed both her and me. The longer charge means she doesn't have to remember to charge it daily. And, she can also take it with her for a weekend or overnight trip elsewhere without having to worry about packing the base. She says the power is great, her teeth feel clean, and her last dentist visit gave a thumbs-up to her dental care. Winning! Now honestly I'm envious and trying to convince the husband we need to replace our ancient home model as well LOL

It worked great for 4 months. On my second one now.
So far so good! It is so pretty and works great. But the other one I had did the same thing for about 4 months and then just quit working. I liked it so well that I ordered the same thing over again. That may have been foolish, but I will see in a few more months.

Sonicare Toothbrush
I originally rates this a 5 but right after posting it I ran into an issue. The quality of the product is not as good as the Sonicare I owned previously. I can not turn it on without using something to press the on button. My finger no longer works. I have to replace it for this reason. I will buy another Sonicare just not this model since it didn't last very long. Durability is the only issue.

Toothbrush works wonderfully
I got the pink one rechargeable. It’s very small considering I have the original one and it was like holding a handle of a rake or something. It’s very wide. This one is perfect. I like having so many different options for the brushes. The charging station is nice because it’s small and you just set the toothbrush right on it. It comes with a plastic cap that goes over the brush to protect it from whatever’s flying around the bathroom. For being something so small it has multiple functions to it to help in your dental care.

If you had questions on its longevity
I bought this tooth brush in 2023. It worked beautifully for 2 years. Right past its 28 month mark, the battery started acting up and it died completely at its 3 year anniversary mark. Not bad for a less than $50 electric tooth brush.

Loved the product initially, but it does have a major design flaw
I bought this toothbrush a little over three years ago and really fell in love with it. This was my first electric toothbrush, although my partner has been a longtime user of rotating electric toothbrushes. I always found those too loud and felt that the round brush heads were less comfortable and anatomical for cleaning, so when I finally decided to switch to electric, Sonicare seemed like the obvious choice for me. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The brush is very well made overall, and the clean is much better than what I was able to achieve with a regular toothbrush. The battery life was incredible, easily lasting 14+ days with twice-daily brushing, which made it great for traveling. I also loved the two-minute timer. It wasn't until I started using it that I realized I probably hadn't been brushing for nearly long enough before! The brush-head replacement light was another game changer for someone who always forgets when it's time to replace a toothbrush, and I also appreciated Philips' program for automatically delivering replacement heads. For three years, I really had no complaints about this brush. I easily considered it one of my best purchases. Unfortunately, about a month ago, the power button started to feel sandy or gritty. I quickly realized that the soft material covering the button had started to peel and degrade. The on/off button is made from a softer material than the rest of the toothbrush body, and despite taking good care of the brush, that material eventually began breaking down. I taped over the button when I noticed the problem in an attempt to prevent further damage, but apparently the seal wasn't sufficient. Moisture eventually seems to have gotten inside, possibly just from normal bathroom and shower humidity. The toothbrush now turns itself on randomly, sometimes won't turn on when I actually need it, and generally behaves unpredictably. What makes this particularly disappointing is that the toothbrush itself worked perfectly for those three years. I didn't have battery problems, motor problems, or declining performance. A relatively small design choice—the soft material used for the power button—appears to have rendered an otherwise perfectly functional appliance unusable. It also happened only a few months after my extended warranty expired. I'm someone who tries to buy things for the long term and is very conscious of the waste created by replacing products unnecessarily, so I'm uncomfortable with a toothbrush like this having such a short usable life because of one deteriorating component. I still strongly prefer Sonicare's cleaning technology, which is what makes this so frustrating. I loved this toothbrush while it lasted and would otherwise happily buy another one. But I'm now considering switching to a competitor, especially since my husband's electric toothbrush has been going for more than five years without a similar issue. Excellent toothbrush and cleaning experience, but the durability of the power-button material is a significant weak point in an otherwise great product.

Battery dead soon
At the beginning first few uses, it needed charging after 3 days, not 2 weeks as advertised. Then after about 3 weeks, it refused to charge and not usable anymore. Waste of money..hope the seller can honor basic exchange policy for such blatant lemon.

A good electric toothbrush
A good toothbrush, less settings than a more expensive toothbrush but does the job.
