Does anyone have a concern that the only thing holding this on to the collar is the rubber tab that slips over the nut? Does it ever slip off?

I bought this in fall 2016 , by late 2017 the rubber had loosened and almost fell off. Decided to modify it before buying a new one. I cut off the loop that was originally meant to hold to the collar. Now the loop that hold the tags is wrapped around the tag ring on the collar and the nut and bolt hold it secure to the collar. Occasionally the nut starts to come loose but since I hear the tags start to jingle I know it needs tightening. I will post pics for demo. This method works great

Is it easy to move the whole thing from one collar to another? I need to easily move the tags from daytime collar to nighttime collar everyday.

In my opinion, yes. Switching tags on collars has been more work for me in the past. This has a tiny screw you twist to loosen and tighten. You don't need a tool either.

Can this be opened and closed as needed to replace tags?

Yes, it's a screw mechanism that holds the tags tight so they don't clink against each other. You just pop off a rubber ring, unscrew a little nut, put the tags in place, screw the nut back on tight and replace the rubber ring.

Are you able to easily move the tags to see names and contact info?

Nope just got this, and I can't move the tags enough to see any info. I can't see the middle tag at all and it has the most important info needed. I am taking it off my dog.
