I bought one of these on warehouse deals and figured for the price, it would be a good backup flashlight for diving. After using it once, I have switched this as my primary. The size and construction are great. The brightness is amazing! I've purchased dive lights for 4-5 times the price of this one and they perform half as well plus require more expensive batteries! One point I need to make is that I am not a professional diver and don't use this for caves or extreme situations, I just use it for casual diving and would (and have) recommend this flashlight to anyone looking for a high quality dive light at a great price. After seeing another one pop up on warehouse deals, I scooped it up and gave it to my brother. I wouldn't feel bad paying full price and if I needed another, I would, but for now I will continue to buy them when they are offered for sale as open box.

The good and the very bad. We purchased this light a little more than a year ago for its rugged look and feel, its double O-ring waterproof seal and for its brightness. We were somewhat dismayed to find out that instead of taking 2 or three C-type batteries, it contained a cheaply-made plastic battery cradle that holds 6 AA batteries instead. About two weeks ago, the light started acting up, dimming and flickering on and off. Thinking the batteries we had replaced less than a month ago were going bad, I checked the battery cradle, only to find the terminals corroded and one of the terminal connectors fallen out all together. Contacted the manufacturer, who sent me a a new cradle for $18.00. The cradle, while specified for this model series, failed to activate the light. So now, we have a dead light and a useless battery cradle that we cannot return. Bottom line, an expensive light with a terrible lifespan.

This is a great dive lite. Super bright, the switch is nice and easy to use, and the 500 lumens are much better than my prior 200 lumen light. Also, I appreciate that this light is ACTUALLY 500 lumens, as opposed to all those crappy Chinese brands on the market right now that claim an impossibly high lumen count but in actuality are a fraction of the claim.To put this in context, we dove with this light in some cenotes in Mexico. The water is crystal clear there, but the caves are pitch black... this light was heaven sent for illuminating the caverns and keeping the lurking horrors out!

This light is all you need to dive. I thought it was much smaller so purchased as my back-up. It is actually fairly large but its size makes for a comfortable grip and the light itself is superb. Would definitely purchase again and again.I have taken this light to 120 feet in salt water with no issues.
