The Jetboil MightyMo Ultralight and Compact Camping and Backpacking Stove quickly became my go-to stove during my recent backpacking trip, and I must say, it lived up to the hype. From the moment I pulled it out of my backpack, I was impressed by how lightweight and compact it is. Honestly, it barely made a dent in my load, which is a huge plus when you're trying to keep your pack light. Setting it up was incredibly easy. Just a quick twist to attach it to my fuel canister, and I was ready to roll. One early morning, after a long hike, I was craving a hot cup of coffee. I fired up the MightyMo, and within minutes, it had my water boiling. I couldn't believe how quickly it worked! The adjustable flame control was fantastic, allowing me to simmer my coffee just right—no burnt taste, just pure satisfaction. What really impressed me was how stable it felt, even on uneven ground. I've used other compact stoves before, and they can sometimes feel wobbly. But with the MightyMo, I felt completely confident cooking my meals without the fear of it tipping over. On a particularly windy evening at camp, I was worried I might struggle to keep the flame alive, but this little powerhouse held its own. It kept my dinner cooking steadily while the wind howled around us. Cleaning it up was a breeze too. After a long day on the trail, I was grateful that it required so little effort to wipe down.

Really a great little stove that is unbelievably light weight. Easy to use for backpacking.

I bought this to compare with a Pocket Rocket. I think I prefer the MSR but this stove is excellent quality and it comes with a stand for the canister. Nice feature, MSR sells one made of metal separately. I’ll definitely use this one.

The perfect camping, kayaking, hiking cook stove. It heats water up FAST and doesn’t use a lot of fuel to do so. I love the compact size and it’s perfect for kayak camping or hiking. I wish it had a wind break of some kind tho cuz the flame will go out with the smallest of breezes. I’ve created something… but it could be better. I take this cook stove with me all the time and not just for camping, but I use it at rest stops on long trips and even at my kid’s outdoor tennis matches

We have 4 minimo's for our family of backpackers. I am a huge fan of the regulator control on the jetboil, especially when I want to simmer food. My boys asked me to figure out how to dump some weight after our last trip to Seneca Creek backcountry in WV. I decided to start with the stove system. I have always been impressed with how fast the minimo is able to boil water. It doesn't seem to matter if I am in 15F weather with wind or sitting in 90F on the beach, this thing just boils water fast. With that being said, I was a little concerned that this would not live up to my expectations. I put 2 cups of water in my titanium pot, went outside in a 50F wet night and I think I had a boil under 2 minutes. I didn't time it as I was just making sure it worked. The one thing I noticed right off the bat was how high the flame went. The burner looks a bit larger than that of the minimo and the flame definitely shoots higher. When we use it in the field, I will update my review. As of right now, super happy with my purchase.
