leaves no flavor, filters the finest particles, super easy to clean 'ALL YOU NEED IN A FILTER'
I'm a pretty hardcore coffee drinker, I use every brewing method depending on what mood I'm in. I find the pour over method to be the fastest, most convenient and controllable other then a coffee machine; no self respecting coffee connoisseur uses a auto coffee machine unless its the only thing available but I digress. I'm a staunch researcher when I'm in the market for a particular item, I research for days even weeks to make sure I purchase the best product for my needs. If your looking for a filter you can use repeatedly and reliably with consistent results without sacrificing quality this filter is for you. The filter your using is just as important as every other component when it comes to brewing the perfect cup of coffee. I use the Chemex double wall coffee pot and this filter was designed to function with this kind of coffee pot, it fits perfectly. I use a burr grinder on medium fine setting and I dump the coffee in the filter leaving the coffee in a pile. I know its tempting to shake the filter to level off the pile but this is a mistake, just leave the coffee in a pile. Get your coffee at the perfect temperature depending on roast I use 203 degrees for medium roast and start to slowly pour the water directly in the center of the pile eroding a small hole all the way down. Keep a steady stream of water in that same spot and you'll notice the coffee grounds in the center start to roll towards the outside. making sure to keep a steady stream of water in the center the water level in the filter will begin to rise brewing the rest of the coffee. Towards the end of the pour move the stream of water all around the top of the coffee until you run out of water or when desired amount of coffee is brewed. I've been brewing pour over coffee this way since I the day learned from a professional barista and it by far brews the best pot of coffee. This filter is the best filter on the market when it comes to reusable coffee filters, leaves absolutely no flavor in the coffee and almost no fine coffee particulates, Its a great filter you wont regret your purchase. to clean the filter is as easy as just running the filter under the sink and placing it upside down to dry and you're done.

It works well. Buy it
Works as advertised. My prior filter got clogged up… this one works like it should. Coffee tastes great. Easy clean up.

It's GREAT and you NEED this in your life.
Look, I've tried other stainless pour over coffee filters and I can honestly say....hands down....that this one is GREAT. Stop searching Amazon for the best one because you've found it. I roast and grind my own coffee so this review isn't coming from your 'run-of-the-mill' coffee guy. I'm using a Bonavita Coffee Machine in combination with an 8 cup Chemex vessel and this Titanium Coated Gold pour over coffee filter. The differences between this filter and the white square (expensive) Chemex filters are night and day. You get SO much more flavor from this filter. The oils don't get trapped in the Barista Warrior filter like it does with the Chemex filters. As a bonus, you get to keep all of the health benefits coffee beans have to offer because they make their way through this filter right to your cup. Seriously, get it. You won't be disappointed. Note: I've seen people complain about it clogging but I've yet to experience anything like that. That being said I DO hand wash the filter after every use. It only takes a minute, isn't difficult, and I'm convinced that those are having issues have them because they let the filter sit (full of coffee) for a long time before cleaning. // You like your coffee so take care of your coffee machine and filter....and you'll be just fine. (I haven't run it through the dishwasher yet but will do so soon.)

Good product with a couple of drawbacks
I went online to purchase paper filters for my Chemex, and then saw this product and decided to give it a whirl. Below are pros and cons:Pros:- Filter works very well. I used on two successive mornings and coffee was delicious.- Good quality. Fits perfectly into the Chemex. Also, I appreciated the rubber gasket that goes along the top of the cone; this creates a good seal so if you happen to pour too much water into the filter, the grounds won't seep into the Chemex.Cons:- Usability. I didn't like the procedure. Think of it this way: You pour the very hot water through the filter; after all the water is poured you're ready to pour a cup of coffee, so you remove the filter. It doesn't drip much because the filter holes are very fine, however there are still wet grounds in there. So you turn it over to dump them out (I put them into a plastic receptacle and then do a weekly dump into the compost pile), but the metal part of the cone where you have to hold it is very hot (obviously because you just poured 210 degree water through there). You manage this, but still about 20% of the grounds are sticking onto the filter, which requires you to manually wipe them out with a paper towel or something. And the cone is still hot. After wiping them out there's still about 5% of the grounds in there, mostly stuck in the very bottom of the cone. So your last recourse is to rinse it into the sink. This allows grounds to go into the drain; I wipe as much as I can out of the sink, but inevitably some slip into the drain, and coffee grounds and drains are not a good match. As long as you're in the sink, you may as well wash the filter with soap, etc. Meanwhile, back at the Chemex, some heat loss has occurred with the coffee. This was my experience anyway. Maybe there is a better "workflow" for this, but I just found it infinitely easier to remove and discard the paper filter with grounds.- Cleaning and longevity. Some reviews I read mentioned that they had issues with the filter clogging. Indeed, in the packaging there are actually instructions on how to clean, and what to do if it clogs. Putting in dishwasher, soaking in vinegar, etc. Nothing that's a big deal. But the fact that they addressed this in the packaging gives credibility to the reviews that cite this as an issue. And so the question then becomes, do you want to spend time maintaining a filter.Neutral:- Price is still probably a little steep, but it should pay for itself after a year (or less depending on how much you brew) of use. Conclusion:I'm rating this 4 stars because I don't think there's anything wrong with the product. It does what it says it will do, and it seems to do it well, which is to serve as a substitute for paper filters. However I decided to return due to the "usability" issue described above. My mornings are already a multitasking bonanza with making breakfast, packing lunches, feeding the dog, etc and I just don't need to add anything else to the morning workflow. If this doesn't describe you though then it might be a good fit.

Great Filter
Excellent! This is our second Barista Warrior. The first filter clogged up. So be sure to use medium ground, not fine, and clean as instructed. This filter produces the best brew ever. Thanks.

Works great and the best way to clean it is with..........
Bought this three years ago and still use it everyday. After awhile it was running slower which is to be expected but the BEST way I've found to clean it is with one of those melamine sponges. Like the Magic Eraser. Just moisten it, squeeze it out and wipe and scrub the filter. Amazing the stain that comes off and the filter was running like new again. These sponges will also remove stains from coffee mugs and tea pots as well as the bottom of pans, stainless refrigerators and more. I don't think there is anything harmful in them since there aren't any chemicals but I'm sure we'll find out there is later. In the meantime, try it for your filter and see how easy it cleans.

Great fit for standard Chemex
My husband LOVES this thing for his Chemex and making pour over coffee. It cleans easily and still looks new.

Very nice filter
Beyond the improved flavor of the coffee there were a couple of extra nice surprises over the $50 stainless steel filter I bought several years ago. My wife loves that the water drain fairly quickly. Maybe the other filter is a bit clogged. This was a plus because my wife is happier. Obviously if you know anything about brewing coffee, you want to wet it with a little bit of hot water then wait at least ten seconds as this will bring out the best flavor. I don't mind that it drains fast because I let it fill to the top of the cup so it can pull more caffeine from the coffee. While the bottom of the cone is steep in the coffee. The other nice surprise is that the filter is so fine there is no residue at the bottom of the cup. I like to make only one cup at a time.Update: 04/15/2020I am not understanding any reviews of clogging. I use it twice and have no issues. For me it actually drains a bit too fast as I want to extract more caffeine from my coffee. What I do is pour a bit and wait ten seconds then pour some more and once it reaches the top of my mug, I let the cone sit in the coffee for a couple of minutes so the coffee steeps and gives up some of that needed buzz.

Pour Over Coffee Filter
Well made and helps make an excellent slow pour. This filter is designed to fit the Hario V60 No 2 ceramic cone but could easily fit on top of your jug. Empty the filter immediately after use, and rinse with hot water. I would strongly suggest giving the filter a proper cleaning with Urnex Cafiza once a week - to prevent clogging from a build up from coffee oils. Cafiza Cleaning Powder is available at major coffee suppliers, and Amazon. 6g per 1 litre hot water and soak for 30 minutes.
