Excellent product
The bin arrived very well protected in a sturdy cardboard box. Not sure to understand why/how some customers received a dented product. The quality and finish are excellent, it is built to last and it looks beautiful in my kitchen. It’s made in Belgium, not an inferior product made in China that will quickly break or rust. The G bag fit perfectly inside the bin's plastic liner. I have two 5-liter Newicon bins, work perfectly and look like new after 2 and 7 years. I also have a 30-liter Brabantia bin that is 16 years old, built like a tank, and still in perfect condition, which gives an idea of how durable the product is. Replacement parts are available online, which makes it easy and inexpensive to repair: I changed the pedal mechanism after about ten years of use, as well as the lid and the seal to give it a "brand new" look. Warranty is 10Y.

Looks really good for a trash can
After reading several reviews about dented cans I was a bit worried. However, the unit I received was in perfect condition and the packing was also adequate to protect the contents. The only design flaw, if it can be called that, is that the soft close lid does not fully reach the closed position since the friction against the trash bin with a trash bag in place props it open slightly. This could have been considered and the size of the trash bin or the inside of the lid could have been adjusted accordingly. I still like the soft close feature since the lid closes without any loud noise.

Very disappointed
The trash bin arrived with a deep, ugly scratch right on the lid surface. It’s very noticeable and completely ruins the look. I’m really disappointed with the quality control. Unfortunately, I can’t return it because my parents threw away the packaging before checking the item.
