The previous struts I installed only lasted 1 year. This set is designed much better and does a nice job, so says the wife.

It works...
At the end of the day, this product worked. However, I couldn't help but notice the quality and fit is a little lacking when compared to the old OEM KYB shocks. You get what you pay for. If you're like me, you might consider spending a little extra and buy from the dealership or a higher quality after market product. But, like me, if you're cheap and just want your lift gate to stay open then buy this. They break in quite nicely after a few weeks/months of use (depending on how much you open/close the lift gate). Before that, I found they were pretty stiff closing but nothing major.

Product was exactly as ordered! The item arrived in just two days and were very easy to install.

They are very uplifting!
It just took me a couple of minutes to remove the old struts and install these. It helps to have a 2nd person to hold up the lift gate, but it is all pretty easy to do and they work great.
