Actually better posture on a sofa or couch surface. So far I love it!
I wasn't sure if I was going to keep this item. It was more expensive than I initially wanted to pay. I got it during Prime Day so it was discounted (still a little pricey, but enough to give it a try). I will say, so far I am really liking this chair. I even like a few of the things others are complaining about. Here is my setup. I'm working from my living chaise sectional couch. I sit for really long periods and it was causing me a lot of back pain due to poor posture. I wanted something I could set on top of the couch and sit on. I have those foam cushion/back pads and I tried that for a week, but the foam cushions are too soft on a soft surface so it provided little to no support. What I love about this seat is, it is actually a seat. I LIKE that is has a firm seat and feels more like a seat than a cushion. i LIKE that it has a pretty rigid back because it forces me into a good posture position which is exactly what I was looking for. And I really like the wine color back that goes nicely with the burgundy window curtains and couch pillows I already had in the room. I also REALLY LIKE that I can fold it up, pick it up easily by the handle and store it next to the sofa when I'm not using it. So I can literally transform my living room into a make-shift office. Durability will be an outlier.. We'll see how it holds up but so far so good. Also one little note that I did not notice before I bought it. The back tilts a bit. So you can actually recline just a little bit. And the mesh is rigid but it has some "give" so it is actually more comfortable than some make it out to be. If you are looking for cushy comfort, try the foam cushion seat back, but if you are looking for better posture, I think this fits the bill.

Worth the price! Several facts and uses.
I was reluctant to buy this legless chair because of the price. I justified it by telling myself a legged office chair is at least two hundred clams, and my spine is priceless. I love this legless wonder! It is super comfortable. I do not feel the hard seat that others mention, but instead I feel great support. The other floor chairs for purchase do not seem stable enough for me even though I only weight 160 pounds. I wanted an upright back, not one that even slightly slouches backwards, meaning I would have to crane my neck forward to read. This chair is upright just the way I wanted! It works well even on my couch, which I appreciate when I want to sit up and use my laptop. There is nothing to put together, it simply folds open and is ready to go. It weighs approximately 8 or 9 pounds. I have used it on my couch, on the living room floor, on my bed to sit up and watch TV and not lean on/stress the headboard. I plan to use it on the ground in the springtime at the park. I will use it by my wooden goban when playing Go from the floor with my friends. If I'm playing checkers on the floor with my kids, I will turn to this chair. Many uses! The plastic uprights for the back support are solid and inflexible, which is good. There is no seat angle adjustment, which is fine by me as I can slouch into various positions as needed. The back does, however, pivot on the round areas pictured on the uprights; that is to say, although the back does not recline at all, it does pivot in the middle of the supports so that is one leans back or reaches up to stretch, there is some accommodation from the seat back. The seat pad is very contoured with a pocket for the bum bum and a lower front for the backs of my thighs. The web back (I got the wine colored one, which is beautiful) is supportive and has slight "give" for comfort but is not too "slingy" to allow excessive play on back support. The built-in handle is easy to use, generous to the hand, not sharp to grab and hold, and is smartly molded into the balance point for the chair to make carrying easy. When folded, the chair is self-supported in remaining upright so that it takes up less space. This chair may not be what someone would want for pure relaxation as it is upright positioning is not for pure relaxation. It's really for someone that wants to work, use a laptop, watch TV, add back support to a couch, sit upright in bed, sit upright to eat from the floor, to place on the fireplace to sit at family gatherings, to use at a bleacher or picnic, to sit on the tailgate of their pickup truck, to sit on the front of back porch stairs of their house, to garden for prolonged periods, etc. I really like it and will update this review if I run into problems. Thank you.

A Good Find
Originally I thought my package was missing I didn't know it delivered to the office I have been looking for it since 5-11-26. Now that I have it This is an awesome purchase. It's light weight and very comfortable with an amazing back support. The only flaw with this product it's not plus size friendly. I decided to keep it as it being the only flaw. I used it while in bed working on the computer I had the same comfortability as if I was up sitting in an actual chair with legs. Sitting on the floor never felt more comfortable. I recommend this product don't know why I didn't buy it sooner

Incredibly comfortable and sturdy!
What a total gamechanger for my new floor sitting lifestyle. My back is still adjusting to sitting cross-legged for > 30 minutes. Super comfortable and relaxing to use. It is a bit bulky and doesnโt compact much when folded, however.

A little pricey, but it delivers
I've searched high and low for a decent floor chair that provides actual back support, and all the ones I've tried previously were huge disappointments. THIS is the chair I was looking for. It is expensive, yes, but if you are a dedicated floor sitter, it's think it's worth the investment for back health. The contoured seat is firm but feels great, and the back rest cradles the back perfectly and keeps you in a proper upright and aligned position, suitable for work at a low table. It is a bit heavy, so I wouldn't say it's great for carrying around to festivals or whatnot. But that wasn't what I bought it for. This feels like a good ergonomic office chair, minus the legs, and that's what I wanted. Highly recommended!

Love this! Great for meditation!
I was looking for a long time for a comfortable chair to meditate in. And this is the one for me! I have a bad lower back, so I can't sit for a long time without support. I thought I'd be stuck doing lying meditations because most meditation chairs and seats provide no back support, often are poorly designed in terms of leg circulation, and have little comfort for the sit bones. But this chair has it all! Back support, great leg circulation (no more numb legs), and my sit bones never hurt! I'm able to comfortable sit in meditation for 1.5+ hours! The only things to mention to other meditators are that you might want to put a cushion or pillow under your feet. And I found it helpful, for me, to put a small pillow just behind my shoulders because it helps to provide better upper and lower back support. Of course, I have a bad back, so you may not need extra back support like me. Also if you have tight IT bands like me, they may ache the first few times sitting in this chair, but this feel goes way. I'd recommend this to anyone how likes to meditate for long periods of time or likes to sit on the floor! This is a great chair! Thank you for developing this amazing chair!!

Broke Within A Week of Purchase
The chair seemed sturdy and of high quality right out of the box. There were scuffs and markings on it and I assumed it was just from manufacturing. After a week of use, the bolts on the side of the chair became loose and when I sat down, I heard a huge crack. The right bolt broke in half and the other half remained inside the hole. The chair is not functional anymore and I don't have the box to return/exchange. I am not sure if what was sold to me was a new or used product but I don't suggest people to buy this chair. It's too expensive and not reliable.

Fine, but too expensive
A bit too low to sit comfortably, had to raise it a bit. Backrest is fine for me as a 195cm person. Very crude finish on plastic and hard plastic bottom so it would scratch the floor without me having raised it anyway. Not used long enough to say anything about durability. For 150 this would be a good buy, now it's way too expensive compared to the quality. But there is no competition to drive the price down, so you get what you get.
