best plugs for 1st gen mazda3's
I bought this set on here from a 3rd party seller. I contacted NGK and they confirmed they're authentic. Amazon just shipped them in a plastic bag with no padding but they did arrive fine. I had Denso ones in my 08 mazda3 for the last 60k miles. With these in, I immediately noticed the increased acceleration and smoother starting. Much cheaper on here than the local auto parts store too!

Nice plugs
These work great in a 2011 Mazda 6 with the 2.5L engine. The previous owner never changed the plugs, which had now accumulated 124,000 miles. The old plugs were a pain to remove but surprisingly in very good condition and not causing any driveability issues. I have no doubt this new set will last 100,000+ miles (although I plan to change them well before that to avoid repeating the difficult removal process). The price was shocking but why mess with cheaper parts when the car runs so good on these. In case anyone is confused by the ILTR5A-13G plug number referenced in the Mazda owners manual... NGK 3811 (ILTR5A-13G) was discontinued - Replaced by NGK 90607 (ILTR5K13) for Ford/Lincoln/Mercury applications and NGK 90083 (LTR5BI-13) for Mazda applications.

Excellent Plugs
Installed these last month on my 2010 Mazda3 Touring (2.0). They seem similar to the stock iridium plugs which lasted 90,000 miles and they perform perfectly. I've always gotten about 28-30 mpg during mixed driving depending on traffic and use of air conditioning and these seem to be as good or maybe a little better than the original. Installation was super easy (see YouTube videos) - just be careful not to cross-thread and use a torque wrench so as to not over-torque (aluminum heads). Buy these; it's just not worth messing around with anything less, and these seem excellent.

NGK is the way
Seem authentic and at a good price. NGK is a trusted high-quality OEM brand. There are cheaper spark plugs available, but if a cheap plug breaks in your engine, you'll regret losing $1000s by trying to save $10s. These are rated by NGK to last 100K miles and I expect they will, (but of course I'll inspect them at 60 and 80k)

They work as intended. Interesting part is that the OEM plugs in my Mazda 3 were not NGK as i thought they would be. They were FOMOCO which is a division of Ford Motor Co. Not really surprising since I believe Ford owns part of Mazda.

Easy spark plug change for Mazda 3 (2011)
These are the direct OEM plugs for a 2011 Mazda 3 2.0l (and 2.5l too I believe). My originals had 140K on them and while had a bit of deposits and erosion as would be expected. These Were a direct OEM replacement and come pre-gapped for easy installation. Installation itself is super easy as the plugs are accessible on the top of the engine. 1. Remove the engine cover, clean out any dust/junk around the coil packs (you *don't* want that falling into the engine). 2. Unplug the coil packs. 3. Remove the coil pack studs with a 8mm ratchet; 2 of the studs have a 15mm clip on top you have to remove first. 4. Pull out the coil pack (I do these one at a time) 5. Use a 5/8" spark plug socket to unscrew the olde plug. A regular 5/8" socket will work but the plugs are pretty deep in and the spark plug socket will hold them. In a pinch the coil pack will work but be gentle. 6. Install new sparkplug and torque to 10ftlbs. 7. install coil pack, studs, and connect the coil pack connector. If you're unfamiliar there are YouTube videos with more details. Took 15 minutes total and saved ~$60 at mechanics.

2010 Mazda 3 2.0L
2010 Mazda 3 2.0L. The new plugs were the same as the original spark plugs. Perfect fit. Easy enough to install. Significant improvement for the engine. Slow shipping by amazon.ca waited over a week to send the package.
