Mane 'n Tail Detangler ElIMINATES TANGLES & KNOTS 16 Ounce Sprayer

Ok that title was extra but so is this detangler. Y'ALLLLLLL!!! This review is super long - just watch the video if you don't want to read my sob history lol Because honey it speaks for itself! Look. I hate doing my hair. I have gone 18 months without washing my hair (*enter: Sulfur 8 Hair Grease* lol). I hate it, I despise it, I fume, I rip and tear, I cry, I throw [beep] around the bathroom. I. Cannot. Stand. My. Hair. Texture. That's why it looks like it does, mayne! Because I hate trying to deal with it! I had a perm from 11 years old til I was in my late 30s. My hair was waist-length. Easy to care for, a cinch to wash and dry. Curls wouldn't stay for nothin' but I didn't care! ...I could comb my hair easily. Then I decided to cut it all off BIG CHOP. And did. I let it griw out for about 6 months. I detested detangling the transition, wrapping all around the [beep] comb and [beep beep]. So when I had enough I cut off the perm and had my wonderful 4C hair! It felt good! Easy to wash, condition... then the longer it got, add deep condition, detangling, styling, protective styling, etc etc etc. The longer it got, the more time it took! I became angry - I got work, I got kids, I'm married, I got [beep] to do! I AIN'T GOT TIME FOR AAAALL THIS?!! What is this?! This is too much! This is an all day, 2 day job in and of itself! I was going months putting it off, then ripping it out - and I mean GRABBING AND RIPPING IT OUTTT, crying, snot, everything. I cut it off. I had enough. Great it out, let it go, no time to do it, cut it off again, grew, ripped it out, grew, cut it off. One day I said Ok, I didnt have to deal with this when I had a perm! Of course not - because it was straight, right? WRONG!! ...I never had the right tools. And that was it the whole time. The whole time. 10 years of crying and ripping and hate. Didn't have the right tools. What was my biggest problem? Texture. What was my REAL problem? Lol Detangling. Time and avoidance due to past failures. Recently, found Creme of Nature Argan Shampoo (any store or online), Purador Deep Moisturizing Biotin Conditioner (Amazon, smells like cherry), got the Kahem smooth tip hair pick (Amazon), and the wide tooth comb I always see everybody with (Amazon). Still need to detangle before my wash. That's the BIGGIE!!... so the review! THE REVIEW: Mane 'n Tail gave me a good history when my hair was relaxed, I loved the shampoo and conditioner, I loved the smell. I used to so called silk press YEARS ago because I didn't want greasy hair. So I would wash, condition, bloody, hot iron. Voila, flowy hair that was touchable. FFW past big chop, anger, etc. Needed a detangler NOW or Im going to shave my head. Remembered Mane 'n Tail - Oh they have a DETANGLER NOW!?! BET! They. Came. Through!!! Spray your hair that is tangled all to you-know-where, dirty, clean, matted, does not matterrr!! Run your hands down the length of it (short or long, dirty or clean) - you will hear the squeak! Start at the ends and it fluffs your hair up so that the pick can actually make its way through it!! (Now this is curly hair. If it is for any hair, including horses, and they have straight hair so it is supposed to work on straight hair too!) I do reviews but not usually Video reviews - y'all this deserved my first ever hair video review lmao I couldn't NOT. I detangled one section and stopped. I said Naw they gone SEE THIS RIGHT HERR!!! [It does not have much of a smell except lightly fresh. Important, because I get migraines and will look for an excuse not to do my hair - this killed any excuse lol], it is watery, it sprays perfectly from the nozzle, it drips on my low porosity hair but I massaged it down and that helped it go in immediately. It is NOT greasy. It does NOT burn. I got some in my eye and I just wiped it with a wet cloth and the "wet product" feeling stopped. I tried with dry and still felt it, so I tried a wet cloth and it stopped. So just watch the review video. It took me longer to write this than it took me to detangle my head. Lmao I will NEVER need anything else to do my hair now. Got the shampoo, conditioner, detangler, and pick. I will start trims, and Deep Conditioning, and steaming, and all the good things. The mountains have been moved! Lol I'm good. I'm happy. And ready for my hair to be back down to my waist, my NATURAL hair that I can love now :)

I am a curly girl with very long curly curly hair- I get my brown hair colored to a blonde since I was 16 (I am now 52). However, in May 2019 I had to find a new colorist as mine left the area. This is where my nightmare started. After a bad hair coloring from my new beautician, I found my hair was breaking with the simplest touch. (I found out she used a 40 lift When my other colorist was using no higher than a 30). Washing my hair (which I wash with conditioner not shampoo) was scary as I did not know how much of my hair would break off. Putting my hair gel through my hair was also an adventure as my hair would break off in my hands. My hair has been in such horrible condition as it tangles and breaks so easily. I used Mane and Tail years ago, and knowing how the product made my hair manageable I decided to return to this product to help reduce the friction/knotting my hair was experiencing. I started using this over the past two weeks (middle of December 2019). I no longer am experiencing a handful of hair breakage. The detangler allows my to wash and style my hair as it “coats” my strands, reducing the breakage I have been experiencing. It makes my hair very bouncy, soft and shiny. I wish I had thought about this product sooner, as I might have been able to save more of my hair from this horrific ordeal with this beautician. Smell of this product reminds me of Fabreeze. I spray this in my hair and wrap my hair in a hair-turban for approx 5 min to allow the magic to work into my stands. It allows this curly girl to easily comb her wet stands, which is unbelievable. I then style with my hair gel. I am very satisfied with this product.

This stuff is like miracle liquid for detangling wigs I literally put it on my wig and let it sit for a few minutes before brushing it out and detangling it and it works so well.

My hair is very thick. I live in Florida and it's so humid here, a day after wash day, my hair forms the thickest and worst tangles you've ever seen. The longer my hair gets, the more difficult it's become to manage. I was finding myself NO JOKE spending between one and two hours simply detangling my wild hair. Usually when my hair gets this long, I chop it, because the tangles become too much for me. This time I thought "why not just try a detangler?" Well, I chose the right one. This stuff is amazing. My hair is shiny afterwards and not greasy. It had a decent smell, nothing so fragrancy. I spray this on my hair and I'm able able get the tangles out in 10 minutes or less. It is actually SUCH a time saver for me and this product will be on my shelf from now on. I'm amazed! If you have long thick hair that is prone to tangling and dryness, this is for you!

My daughters have very long, thick hair, and brushing it can be a challenge, especially in the back where tangles and knots tend to form. I use this Mane ‘n Take Detangler before brushing, and it helps the brush glide through their hair much more easily. It does a good job of loosening snarls without leaving behind a greasy or heavy residue. I appreciate that it comes in a large bottle, which makes it a good value and means it lasts longer with regular use. The only downside is that the scent took some time for us to get used to, and I wish there were another fragrance option available. Also, when you get down to the last bit of product, the top does not easily come off for transferring the remainder into another container and required channel lock pliers to remove. Overall, this detangler works well, makes hair brushing easier, and is a good value for the price

I've been using this for years. This product is really good. It instantly softens your hair and it smells good. Really works.

I have long hair and use to regret washing it because no matter what conditioner I use, I had to really work to get the tangles out. I got this and it works way better than other conditioners I have tried. Since it came in a gallon, (to save money), I just poured some into a spray bottle that I keep in the shower. I'm done trying a new conditioner every time!

This is the Best detangler for my now way-too-long thin, baby fine locks. I have tried many others but they are quite expensive in their tiny bottles. *As others have mentioned, do not allow even a tiny bit of this product to get on any of your floors, you will be slipping all over the place, as I found out from spraying my hair in the bathroom. Very scary getting up in the middle of the night and going for an unintended slide/ride.

Wow this product is a game changer. Works great on thick dog coats and makes it easy to get a slicker brush through without painful tugging. It works so good I decided to try it on my curly hair that easily tangles and is a nightmare to comb out after a shower. Wow! First time I have been able to easily comb it out. I didn't feel I needed anything else in my hair so I let it dry naturally and was left with soft defined curls. This will save money on leave-in conditioners and gels.

Really helps to detangle the nots work great. but give a gracy look after really have to wash the dog with a good shampoo to have a nice look after
