Well-made, sturdy, elegant case
Just received this yesterday. The first impression is, as the title says, that it is a well-made, sturdy and elegant case. I read reviews that said the handle was uncomfortable. I don’t think it is. also read reviews that the straps were uncomfortable, that if you just hold by one strap the bass Flips upside down. That’s not true. The shoulder straps are fine. I wonder if people know how to adjust them? I opened them up all the way. That works for me.To put the bass in the case, you really do have to open it up almost all the way. And the extra pads at the bottom or a little bit in the way sort of. I didn’t want to remove them because I like the extra padding there. I don’t want to take the strap off my bass when I put it in the case, but that would probably make things a lot easier. Anyway, it fits in there the case itself as I mentioned is very good looking in an understated sort of way - you could show up at symphony hall with this thing and fit right in. It feels very sturdy and solid and stiff. The best of both worlds between a case and a gig bag. In my opinion I bought it because I fly sometimes in like to gate check the bass. this I think is as good as it gets for that option.

These are the best bags on the market for now but everyone else is slowly catching up
These are the best bags on the market for now but everyone else is catching up and I wish they came in more than one color so the guys in a band or even one person with two guitars don't all have the exact same bags. Yes you can add a tag but so much for individuality. LOL

Great acoustic guitar case
This Reunion Blues dreadnought guitar case is well worth the price (basically $200), especially if you have an expensive acoustic guitar. My Martin HD-28V fits perfectly inside, with just a tiny bit of wiggle room. The padding inside the case is plenty thick (more than any other "bag style" guitar case I have seen). The inside neck strap helps keep the guitar from bouncing around - you can make it loose or tight to suit your preference. There is a little room above the head stock (maybe 2 inches). There is room to roll up your strap and tuck it in at the top of the guitar body. Otherwise the guitar is held firm by the padding. There are two extra padding pillows at the base of the body that are held in place by Velcro and can be relocated if needed (say, to allow for a strap lock at the base of the guitar). The exterior material is very dense and protective. There is an outside pocket that can hold a music book, and a smaller outside pocket for picks, etc. The shoulder straps are sturdy and can be tucked away when not in use. Note, however, that the case rides high when using the shoulder straps (the neck sticks up almost 12 inches above my head). The outside handle is sturdy and well balanced. The case is a little heavier than the $50 bag case I was using, but much lighter than the hard case that came with the guitar. This case really feels like it will hold up well over years of use. (If not, I'll be back!)

Durable, versatile, well built cases.
These are good, durable, well built cases. The bass version was a bit long for my PRS SE Kingfisher, but I used the pads from the electric version to make up for the length I needed to get the headstock under the protective patch. On the electric guitar version, I just rolled up a good quality shirt to snug up the space at the base of the bag. The pads that came with it were just thick enough to cause the headstock of a Schecter PT Special to press on the top wall of the case. So, off to the bass case they went. The materials used to make these cases are great. Extremely durable, plenty of padding, with enough external pouch space for your essentials. It is about as rigid as you can get without being considered a "hard shell". It may not be perfect, but it's better than the other brands out there. These may be a little on the pricey side. However, you are getting what you pay for.

Taking this with me on an international flight
I read through a lot of guitar forums and watched many YouTube videos and this case came up multiple times for its protectiveness and value for the money. It's small enough that most airlines shouldn't have a problem with carrying it on, but if I did have to check it I think my guitar still has a fighting chance. I've read that taking a hard case increases the odds that the flight attendants will require you to check your guitar without first allowing you to see if there is room in the cabin, so this case seemed like a good compromise. I'm fairly sure the fabric/plush design outperforms most hard cases of a similar price in terms of shock absorption, and even though it is a "soft" case, it is very ridged and solid. I really like the backpack design and the water resistant zippers! Looks like it will last many years.

Great Gig/ Travel bag.
I debated between the Mono Vertigo bag and the Blues Reunion. I have bags from both companies. Ultimately I purchased the reunion blues for electric guitar. The reason is I did not like that the mono Vertigo slip in bag as the reviews noted that there was no way to put the guitar into the bag without the bridge scraping the side of the bag. And they also noted the material that would ultimately protect the bag from the bridge and strings was not as tough per se ass the Reunion Bag. Last but not least, I’ve decided when I die I want to be buried in a Reunion Blues bag. The color the blushness, support on the inside should make eternity very comfortable until my next reincarnation.

Great carry-on and travelling bag
I bought this gig bag specifically because I had some gigs in Alaska and I needed to fly there with my guitar. I wanted a soft case that I could get on the plane as a carry-on. I had no issues using it as my carry-on bag. It was easy to carry and handle, fit in the overhead compartments fine on Delta and Alaska Air. I was never worried about my guitar on the flights or through 2 weeks of trekking through Alaska. The size is nice, big enough to protect but small enough to be convenient during travel. It's a solid enough build and now I use it as my case at local gigs too just because it is so convenient compared to all my hard cases. So far I've used it with a Hamer Monico, Hamer Sunburst, Gibson SG and a Fender Strat at different times and they all fit great. I would buy again and might just do that for other guitars.
