Does the Scanpan warranty cover the non-stick surface?

I had an experience about a year ago with a 8" scanpan skillet non stick surface sticking very bad. I called the number on the warranty. I had to leave a message, but my call was returned within 24-36 hours. At first the representative insisted that I had done something to cause it to stick. I was very firm in my argument that I had followed every instructions that had been recommended when cleaning and ensured to let cool b4 cleaning my pan. The representative gave me a couple of suggestions to try. Neither worked to keep the pan from sticking. Finally after being very very firm, I was sent a brand new replacement skillet. I encourage you to be firm and stand your ground. These pans are worth the money!!
