Does anyone know what form of folate is in this product? Too vague.

It is made from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, a one-celled fungus. Brewer's yeast has a bitter taste. Brewer's yeast is also used as a nutritional supplement. It's a rich source of chromium, which may help your body maintain normal blood sugar levels.Sep 26, 2016 From University of Maryland Medical Center http://www.umm.edu/health/medical/altmed/supplement/brewers-yeast

Does this 2 pack total 12.35 ounces? Or is this 2 packs of 12.35 ounces? Your description is a little confusing and misleading so I have to ask.

Each pack has 2 cans . Each can is 12.35 ounces.

Why you have so far not stopped using a plastic container?

I just transfer it to a glass container. I hope this helps.

Is this yeast really used in the beer brewing process? If not why us it called Brewer's yeast instead of nutrtional yeast?

It's "brewer's yeast" because the species of yeast is used in brewing beer. However, Lewis Labs yeast is primary-grown, meaning that they are not selling yeast that has been used to make beer; they cultivated the yeast (on beet molasses) for the purpose of selling this product. It's a "nutritional yeast" because it's a yeast product that is sold as a nutritional supplement (not for baking, not for brewing).
