I was getting company and realized how awful my kids'/upstairs hall bathroom toilet seat is. I've actually known it for a long time, but whenever I told my husband to replace it, or looked in local big chain hardware stores myself, neither of us could find the right size or color. In desperation, I figured I'd take a chance and told myself that whatever this is, at least it's new, and will look better compared to the old one whose lid was peeling underneath (embarrassing to admit, even here). Lo and behold, the seat is beautiful. Perfect fit, perfect color. Actually, the first one arrived cracked. I called Amazon, and they emailed me a return label and overnighted me a new one at no extra charge. My teen-aged son installed the seat, (my husband likes him to learn new handyman jobs when they arise) and reported that it was very easy to install. This toilet seat is great, the price is great, and it couldn't have been more convenient. I even ordered another one in almond for my master bath. Once again, perfect fit, perfect color. It's so exhilarating when something works out!!

Excelente finish

I like the way the seat locks into place and looks like (so far), it will not wobble much as others do. Still, just in see how it goes. Main thing: DO follow the directions. A little paper in the box. Don't assume you know, different than others I have normally used. Durability is yet to be tested. So far, pleased with installation. Easy if you follow.

Perfect toilet seat match.

This was actually a replacement for the same model that a i had bought many years ago. I damaged the first one trying to clean it The finish on this new one seems easier to keep clean. I remember how easy it was to replace the old toilet seat the first time. This time it was literally a snap (or two) as I didn't need to replace the mounting. Just be sure to press down very firmly when installing the toilet seat on the included posts until it snaps in place. Other wise it will keep coming loose. I tried a couple other toilet seats before I found this one, including a plastic, silent seat. They did not last very long (less than a year.)

This is a higher quality toilet seat than the original Kohler product. The color is a match, the fit is perfect and the price is fantastic.

I gave it one star. It's a very nice looking. Toilet seat seems heavy built. But it didn't even last three months.And it cracked

This was an easy installation, maybe all of 5 minutes. No tools needed, everything is finger tight and there is a slight ratchet that seem to tighten up the bolts very snug. The removal flip is very tight, and does require a bit of thumb pressure to lock it in place, but seems to be firmly held in place. Not sure it this is something that works loose but from the amount of pressure to lock it in place doesn't seem like that would be the case. We'll see after a few months of use. Finish is quite good, not sure how long it will last but if it manages a decade like my old one, I would be satisfied. As for it's description of round, it is slightly more oval than my toilet, and extends a bit from the front of the bowl by roughly 3/8 inch. While it doesn't look odd, it is apparent that it protrudes a bit. Also the seat is quite flat and my wife has commented that she can feel that she is sitting slightly lower than the original seat. But otherwise pretty happy with the unit.

I only purchased this “wooden” version rather than a plastic one, because it was the only one I could find in the color I wanted. I get it, wood is a natural product and each piece is different, but this one snapped in normal use, outside of the return window. Maybe poor quality control?

Nice finish. Quick disconnect keeps coming loose. Annoying.
