I had asked for replacment since the eggs were coming soft boiled, the replaced item too was leaking. So I mailed Borosil customer care about it ([email protected]). They responded within a day and their engineer visited home next day. Fixed the leakage free of cost. This was really very professional warrenty support that too at home. I am quite impressed. Now it makes eggs hard boiled and there's no leakage. 👍

The product is fine for 2 weeks but it suddenly started leaking water. And I have raised a request and Bosch technical team has replaced a part with ontime communication and now the product is back to working condition. Thank you team and the product is good for even boiling sweet corn, sweet potato apart from eggs.

I chose Borosil despite it being more expensive than competing egg boilers because I expected better quality and service. Very disappointing experience. The product advertises soft, medium and hard-boiled eggs, yet the supplied measuring cup is generic and has no markings for the different consistencies. There is also no table specifying how much water to use depending on the number of eggs and desired consistency. Since the quantity of water determines the cooking cycle, this is basic information required to use the product reliably. I contacted Borosil customer service specifically for these measurements, but they were unable to provide satisfactory information. I then emailed their Grievance Officer and received no response. What makes this worse is that cheaper competing egg boilers provide properly marked measuring cups and clear tables showing the water quantity for different numbers of eggs and soft, medium or hard results. If I have to experiment myself to work out the correct water quantities, it defeats the purpose of buying an automatic egg boiler. Poor documentation, poor customer service and not worth paying a premium for. I would buy a competitor that actually provides the instructions needed to use its product properly.

Best device for egg boiling. Using from more than 6 months. No issues, best feature, automatically cut-off after boiling,no headache. Just add sufficient water and switch on. Recommended buy.

I use this product every day and found it very useful. It lasted about 20 months. The only issue is that the lid started getting cracks after 6 months and was completely broken after 1 year and 8 months.
