Solidly as described in the product description!
In observation, to me it seems unreasonable for poor feedback to be given on products where the reviewer gives negative opinions for an item that in fact performs exactly the way it claims. I've read reviews where the reviewer gave one star while explaining for example the item just didn't work well for them, despite having performed as outlined in the description. For that reason and that reason alone I have decided to offer my review on this product. As a newbie in the area of handguns and concealed carry, and without a typical retail outlet in my area offering anything over the counter, I purchased two different handguns via FFL (Federal Firearm License holder), neither of them Glocks. One an SR9c, a compact, the other an LC9 a sub-compact thinking I could not make a decision for one over the other without any experience for a good comparison. For anyone not familiar with these two handguns they are both Ruger 9mm, smaller than a full sized pistol and are comparable in size to the Glock 26 and the Glock 43 respectively. Since a holster was required before enrolling in the Concealed Carry Course offered at my local law enforcement agency I purchased this holster estimating it would fit well with one of the two handguns I plan to use for conceal carry. Remarkably I can use both of my Ruger pistols in this holster. I new it was an inexpensive holster and even though I read reviews of other holsters and watched on-line demo videos on various holsters I knew purchasing this holster would serve several goals for me. 1) first star, the cost is minimal, I can attend the class, and as my knowledge grows I can seek a higher quality holster. 2) second star, this holster is made of a pliable but rigid plastic and it is durable. I suppose if you wanted to damage it you could but as it is designed to be on your person, if you happen to end up with it broken or mis-shaped, you too will be broken or mis-shaped, or you are simply negligent. I wear mine with the belt over the holster keeping it close to my person rather than under the holster as I have seen some wearers prefer. 3) third star, I have found it is a good holster for other handguns too. My 18 year old grandson can wear it at the shooting range and places his Colt 1911 22LR in this holster, multiuse! 4) forth star, I have now discovered I can use it as a temporary holster attached inside my automobile for when I cannot carry my concealed handgun into a government office, thereby keeping my handgun securely and for the most part hidden inconspicuously in my vehicle, again, multiuse. I should mention I do at times place my handgun in a security box inside the trunk compartment of my vehicle when I will be away from it for an extended length of time, normally an hour or more. This doesn't work when I drive my truck. 5) fifth star, is designed as OWB (Outside Waist Band), is somewhat universal in that it is both right or left hand usable, has removable (not replaceable once removed) tabs to fit your belt size, can be made to have different holster cant angles (again not able to return to original state once tabs are removed), belt can be over the holster or under the holster. I got it delivered in an acceptable length of time and although I have no thought of returning it, the fact that I could is worth a lot to me, thank you AMAZON. I plan to purchase a second on of these holsters even though these will not be used as concealed carry holsters. I think I've covered most everything, so in closing, how could anyone give a poor review on an economy item that is designed to be useful in a variety of applications? It might not fit your personal handgun like a glove and if that is your goal don't be so cheap as to cheat the company by sticking poor reviews on their head where they have no way of getting you to understand how ridiculous you are for making these claims. Go spend the several hundred $$$ it will cost you to have a custom holster made to fit you and your handgun. On the other hand, it is possible to give a quality review and still return an item to the seller that simply does not fit your needs. Hope this helps someone.

One of the best OWB hoslters out there!
So I wear a sport coat most days. Wear this right on my side about 4 to 5 position. It's tough as can be, I'm pretty sure it's the same material they use to make glocks, maybe just a little softer, but it's not like an easy rip rubber or anything, it's tough, trust me. I'm able to cover and conceal my gun because of the sport coat, so when I'm wearing one, it is just the most comfortable way to carry. It's light..I mean like fractions of an ounce, it fits probably every glock model out there except probably the single stack models, like the 34 and such. I use it with a subcompact model 26. It completely covers the trigger. One of my number one rules, and should be everyones rule as well, there is no way something can work it's way in, or press up against some flimsy material like some pocket holsters are made out of, and cause a negligent discharge. This should be everyone who carries most important rule. Be smart if you carry. Great retention, though it is not adjustable, I think it pretty much is in a sweet spot, shouldn't come out until you want it to, and you pull it with enough force. No falling out because your belt turned over while you're in the bathroom, that sort of thing, it's staying in till you want and need it, with a forceful draw. It molds to your body after awhile, and gets a slight curve to follow your hip. I have a kydex holster concealment express, IWB with belt clip, which I like too, its my second favorite holster. I tried a an alien gear holster, with like a neoprene backing, which when tight against my belt, it was IWB, it would chamber my gun because of the pressure as I need to wear my belt tight, plus the soft backing could potentially allow the trigger to be pressed while it was holstered. I will never wear one of them. So if you can carry OWB, or you open carry, here is the best few dollars you can spend on a holster, it's cheap, which is just another thing to love, no spending almost a hundred dollars on someone elses supposed worlds greatest holster. Glock made it already.

It really works
At first thought, you think that there must be something wrong with this product because you know that a real holster costs over $100. Well, there is one drawback: it's ugly. That is OK because some people think the pistol it is designed to hold - a Glock - is also ugly. the beautiful thing about this product is that it works superbly and it doesn't cost a lot. In fact, it is a real bargain. You can afford to have one of these for each of your Glocks. the only caution is that the hoslter comes in two sizes and it can be difficult to tell which Glock gets the large and which the small holster. Read the advertising CAREFULLY. The holster is made of relatively soft plastic that conforms slightly to your hip. You can adjust the belt loop size by cutting the appropriate loop bars with a sharp knife. Do this carefully - you want the holster to ride high and close to your body. If your belt is 3/16" thick or more, you will have difficulty using this holster - it works best with belts under 3/16ths. The plastic is soft enough that you can easily cut a little area out if your extended magazine release needs a little breathing room. The front of your barrel will protrude a bit thru the front of the holster. You may find that you need to wipe this area off before holstering or it may leave powder marks on your pants Retention is fine and your draw will be quick and smooth although I find that the first phase of my draw needs to be a little more vertical than with my competition holster ( I do use this Glock Combat Holster for IDPA matches from time to time). Try this holster, I think you'll like it. and, if you find you prefer something more expensive, you will still have the money to buy it.

Best OWB for the money
Not sure about the G26, but the G19, 17 and 34 work great. The main advantage of this thing is how close it stays to your body. It is pretty much ideal for a concealed OWB, e.g. under an open jacket. I carry a G19, which is about as big of a CCW as most people would consider, and it all but disappears. Build quality is good. You might think otherwise when you pull it out of the package, but give it a chance. When I first saw this thing, my first impression was that it was a piece of junk. It is ugly and lightweight plastic, but it functions very well. Retention is perfect; don't worry about the review that says otherwise. He is either not using it correctly or doesn't have a pistol belt. A few minor caveats... It is not that easy to slide on and off a 1.5" pistol belt. I am currently using a Blackhawk! QCQ belt. For the tightest fit on a 1.5", you'll want to clip the top retaining tabs. Even though it's not that easy to slip on and off, you want the tightest fit possible, so it comes with the territory. This will not work with an extended mag release without modification. If you have an extended mag release, which many of us do, you will have to cut out a small notch. This will be apparent and you will figure it out easily, so don't worry. The plastic is very pliable, so it can be easily cut with a decent knife or scissors. Lastly, this is not a great holster for open carry unless you are really broke. For an open carry holster, you will want something that sticks out a little bit more. This holster is really snug. I would rate this holster 4.5 stars due to the aforementioned reservations, but, considering the price, I feel that only rating it 4 stars is doing it a disservice.

By Glock FOR Glock - A Match Made in Heaven
This holster is a bargain. There is simply no other holster out there of this quality at this price point, and best of all it is made by Glock FOR Glock. This fits my Glock 19 Gen 4 perfectly. The retention is excellent. I would have no concern using this holster while riding a dirt bike with my loaded firearm secured in this holster. You could likely do a cart wheel with your lock secured and I don't think it would fall out. When you need it however, with the right pull, your Glock will come out smooth and without hesitation. With a tight belt and when drawing your gun with conviction you pants will not even rise. I would have preferred a belt clip style for easier on/off but at this price I cannot complain. I cannot CCW in my home state so I bought this mainly for range use and IDPA Matches and it has performed perfectly for those applications. I installed Wilson Combat Elite Battlesights on my Glock 19 Gen 4 and I did need to modify my holster slightly to accommodate the taller front sight. The holster comes with a nice channel to protect your front sight, but my sights are substantially taller than the stock sights. Using a dremel tool, I was able to easily add some additional clearance with no loss in retention, functionality or appearance. This is a great holster and the price can't be beat.

Love my sport holster.
Nice holster. I purchased two of these. At first it was too retentive and made presenting impossible. I use a dremel to remove the trigger guard retention bump on the inside of the holster. Better but still too tight. I then lubricated the inside with silicone spray as others have suggested and it works well. There is just enough retention to keep the gun in the holster but it draws effortlessly. On the second holster I only modified the belt loops to fit my tactical belt. A little silicone spray. Wipe off any excess spray and it works great! The little bump lets me know the gun is holstered completely yet the silicone spray reduces the friction enough for an effortless draw. If you are worried that the excess spray will make your gun slippery and dangerous to handle, it has not in my experience. Be sure you apply silicone to the whole interior and thoroughly wipe of the excess before trying your gun in the holster. This worked well for me. I feel that in my hands and my situation my firearm is safe to handle and operate with the above modifications. That being said. YOU ARE ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFE STORAGE AND OPERATION OF YOUR FIREARM! ANY TREATMENTS OR MODIFICATIONS YOU MAKE ARE YOUR OWN DECISION AND YOU ACCEPT ALL RISKS AND RESPONSIBILITY. I will be buying at least 2 more in the near future. Heading to Front Sight with my kids. This is the holster we will be using. The holster with NO modification to the trigger retention bump is my preferred setup. I will use the the one with no trigger retention as a backup or for storage.

Very disappointed, Glock. Totally let down.
Oh how I dislike leaving bad product reviews, but in this case, it's warranted. I (and you) should have spent the extra for the G&G here on Amazon (http://amzn.to/1RTCwZ4) but I thought I'd try this Glock-manufactured model. Being made by Glock themselves, I assumed this would be a perfect fit. In a side holster, you have two fit points: 1) How the holster fits to your body, and 2) How the gun fits in the holster In this case, I feel it miserably fails both. The gun has to be jammed down in there with a pretty good amount of force. And drawing your gun is an awkward, two hand operation, along with a big twist to the right (in my case). And for the record, I carry a completely stock Gen 4 model 26. So unless I mis-read the description, this holster is supposed to be for this gun. In short, in the event (God forbid it ever happens) that I'm faced with drawing my weapon from this case in self-defense, I could very easily get myself killed. Worst part is, that in order to fit a typical, wide, male belt through the slots, you have to cut out a couple of small bars of plastic from each side. So now I'm pretty sure I'm unable to return it since I cut those out. I honestly don't know how all these 5 star reviews are on here. Just remember... you carry your Glock for self defense. Your holster is as important to your safety as the gun. You need to know you can draw your weapon without question every time. And I absolutely can't say that's the case here.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better piece of equipment for your Glock at this price ...
As a Sport Holster (in other words, NOT a tactical or high performance piece of equipment), this product excels! You'd be hard pressed to find a better piece of equipment for your Glock at this price point. I love mine and use it as my regular, daily carry holster. It's highly modifiable and can be used to carry your handgun on different parts of the body and with the gun at different angles depending on what combination of plastic bars you cut out. If you have a heat gun or even hair dryer then the best thing to do is warm up the "wings" or plastic between the belt loops and main body, then bend/conform them so that they curve around your waist. The holster is most secure and concealable when placed with your belt OVER the holster and not behind it. It can only be secured when carried in either the 2 o'clock or 4 o'clock position (appendix carry) and NOT so well in the 3 o'clock position right at the hip. You CAN place it at 3 o'clock but will have to skip a belt loop thus making the holster a little loose and not as comfortable. Unfortunately, I prefer to carry at 3 o'clock so the other two spots are a little uncomfortable and will take some getting used to. But that isn't a fault of Glock; all of these style of holsters have the same problem. Bottomline: if you want the slimest, sturdiest, hard cased belt holster...BUY THIS ITEM!

Five Stars
Quite possibly the best factory holster for the Glock. Well built and simple but functionally good.
