Is the gold shiny or matte gold?

Matte, its a terribly constructed table mine fell apart in 2 days time fyi.

Is this table easy to fold and unfold? Is it sturdy and durable?

The legs don't fold. They are screwed on. I would say it's a light duty table, not heavy duty. The legs are charcoal gray and not black.

large says 17" high, mediums says 20" - which is it?

I bought the large. It's 19 7/8 inches to the top of the tray.
