This cutting board is heavy, thick and has plenty of work space to do anything you want. It still brand new so cant say if it warps over time but judging by how heavy it is i really doubt it, for now it lays perfectly flat. The only con i would say is that the surface is a little bit rough. Following the advice from another review i sanded with 400 grit, oiled again and now is just perfect. Can definitely recommend!

But overlooked the return date. So I finally took it out of its flat box, washed it, oiled it, and then put it on the metal shelf with my oversized Nordic Ware aluminum half sheets.It is a beautiful board, no doubt it. And I'm pretty sure that one of these days I will enjoy using it. But by then I hope to have figured out what to remove from my counter for it to fit and be useful in cutting meat and produce.

So I’ve been basically collecting cutting boards for years. And I’ve never wanted to spend this much money, but I decided to splurge on the 18x24” walnut board.I’m glad the instructions warned me to let it air dry for an hour, as it arrived very well seasoned. It’s the perfect size to prep veggies and push everything to the side while continuing to work.I can easily toss a 13” pizza on it from the oven and cut it with plenty of space around.The wood is of great quality, and with it being so well seasoned it hasn’t absorbed the smell of the onions and garlic I’ve prepped on it. It has a few slight imperfections that I love, and give it character without taking away from usability.I haven’t yet tried the board oil that came with it yet, but that’s a nice touch. Can’t wait to flip it over and carve a turkey using the juice well on the other side.

I bought this medium maple wood from amazon prime and delivered on March16th.I've followed the instructions and just wash it by hands, not dishwasher. and for 2-3times used, i use vinegar and wipe it off too. And i bought the wax and mineral oil too for this. But The wood started to cracked like it will be split. it just about 2weeks since i bought it. so dissapointed since i thought the appearance looks so good and sturdy.

If you have a LARGE piece of meat to carve, a full-size road turkey, air a pile of veggies to cut, this monster cutting board is perfect. Well made, solid, and HEAVY, it does the job.
