You should choose a corset size based on the circumference of the smallest part of your waist, not your pants size. According to the size chart (in the size options), if the smallest part of your waist has a 27" circumference, you should get a small.Also keep in mind that this corset has a curvier silhouette, so the hip area may be a bit loose on some women who are not that curvy.I have a 23" waist and 38" hips, and the XS fit fine, if not as tightly as I would have liked in the middle.
