What does this smell like?

To me, this oil has little to no scent compared to other oils I've used--or smelled on others-- and I tend to be sensitive to scents. It's so noninvasive I had to sniff the bottle contents before I answered this question even though I used it after I took a shower about an hour ago.

How does this compare to Josie Maran argan oil?

I am sorry to say, this does not compare to Josie Maran Argon oil. You get a whole lot more of the Virgin Argan Oil for the same price as Josie Maran Argan oil, (her small bottle); but, there is something about this one, I don't care for. It takes longer to rub in , for one. I will not purchase this again.

What "oil" was added to maintain quality?

It has no other ingrediants, Just Pure Argan Oil. I bought it because of the price. I don't intend to purchase this one again.

This argan oil is excellent quality

This argan oil is excellent quality and works really well for both hair and skin. It feels lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. After using it regularly, my hair feels softer, smoother, and more manageable, and my skin looks more hydrated and healthy. I also like the packaging—the bottle is sturdy and the pump makes it very easy to use without wasting product. Overall, a great value for the price and I would definitely purchase it again.
