Classic Tear Drop Mirror Lens Aviator Sunglasses (Gold / Mirror)

I just received these shades yesterday which was ahead of the estimated delivery time! They are so comfortable and I love that they have "spring loaded" arms on them!!! Most sunglasses don't have them and end up hurting me behind my ears! They are the perfect size, not too big! My husband also really liked them so I will be ordering him a pair! He looked very sexy in them I must say!!! They are very light so I wouldn't recommend being too rough with them!Update ~ April 6, 2013 ~ Just ordered a second pair for my husband. I have been anxiously awaiting for some sunny days so I can wear these. Finally my wait is over. Spring has sprung and my shades are on. I absolutely adore them. They are so light weight and comfortable you forget you have them on. They are perfectly tinted also, but not too dark. The spring sun the past couple of days has been very intense but I put my shades on and I am set to go. When my husband and I get in the car, he say "Put on your cop glasses!" which I find so cute. I know he has been wishing he had a pair, so with this seller's speedy service, he won't be waiting too long for his own pair. We are going to look so cute driving around in our matching shades! And with our town festivals quickly approaching, they are going to come in handy when the sun starts to set and is directly in your face. With them on I will also say, when people are talking to you, they will not be able to see your eyes, so you may want to take them off at that point! Just because when someone is talking to you, they usually like to be able to see your eyes!The only con with them as I stated earlier is ~ They are a bit on the fragile side. So please don't be too rough in handling them. If you handle them with care, as you should with any eye wear anyways, I am sure you will get a lot of use and enjoyment out of them. But for the price they are being sold for right now, if they do break, it's not like you are out a lot of money. If you really like them, as I am certain you will, and their speedy service, just order a new pair!

I needed a pair of cheap, inexpensive sunglasses to take on vacation. A pair that if I lost them in the ocean I wouldn't lose my mind. (like my husband did many years ago when a pair of his WAY TO EXPENSIVE designer shades got lost on a wave runner, that was a very sad afternoon) I have many designer sunglasses that I simply adore but these aviators give me a cool factor vibe that I have never had before. Just yesterday I was driving slowly down the street in a long line of traffic next to our local sheriffs building. Two police officers were standing near the corner at the stop sign. They looked over at me grinning from ear to ear & then they both gave me the nod up w/ theirs heads. It's that kind of cool. I also do a neat Cartman impression w/ these on too, my kids crack up. When the glasses first arrived there was a very, very small scratch on one of the lenses & a very, very small bubble on the other but nothing to bad & definitely nothing in the way of my direct sight line whiling driving. I contacted the seller & she was aces. She offered me another pair. Simply amazing customer service. Most days you are hard pressed to find someone willing to give you decent customer service but not w/ this seller, she went above & beyond for me. I am extremely satisfied to say the least. Won't think twice about ordering from them again.

When I first got these glasses they were above my expectations. They seemed sturdy and they fit nicely for a sub-$5 pair of classes. They also look boss!However, I noticed a tiny scratch on the lens right off the bat. I thought it was a smudge, so when I tried to wipe it off a small chunk of the mirrored-tint came off. Not a huge deal, it doesn't affect my vision while wearing them. But I noticed ANOTHER scratch shortly after wearing them on my first car trip. I never dropped them so i'm not sure what happened.The tint of the glasses is not *too* dark during a brightly lit day. However, I can see how they might be on the darker side closer to dusk or on a partly cloudy day.Overall, I'd recommend these as a cheap pair of glasses you don't want to care about. For the price, I'd buy a couple pairs a year just to avoid buying more expensive brands.

I learned my lesson when my $50+ Ray-Bans took a dive to the bottom of the lake. Now I keep several pairs of these around for the car, travel, etc.The look: No one will be able to tell that these aren't Ray-Bans (minus the logo). The only knock I'll give here is they are built slightly flatter, meaning that the lenses don't seem to curve around your face as much. This is a minor annoyance that can be improved with some careful bending, but they're prone to breaking at the plastic joints when you do that.

First of all, I'm using these for cosplay, and I normally use prescription glasses. So I didn't want to spend so much. For the price, these fit well on me and are comfortable. I have a wide face, and they work well without discomfort.Word of caution. They ship the glasses in a bag inside a thin rectangle box. It's kinda easy for it to get messed up in shipment, but this is a fault of the seller's shipping and not the product itself.These are indeed dark. I may use them outside during the brightest part of the day, but they are unusable indoors, and even in cloudy weather.

I just received these so this will be an initial review, updated later to include durability. Here is why I rated these sunglasses 3 stars.These aviators look cheap. Not a big deal for me since I am not known for wearing high end anyway. And, well, they were cheap! They ARE very, very light. I like that they don't weigh down my nose. The finish seems to be cracking in a few spots already and they are not contoured, or rounded, for a face. Meaning the lense kind of just go straight down. I have another pair, from a different manufacturer, that round inwards on the lenses. So these aren't as comfortable or as snug.
