Melting
Vacuum Head Is Melting I’m really disappointed with this vacuum. The actual vacuum works fine, but the head has started to literally melt/deform with normal use. The plastic looks like it has been exposed to extreme heat, even though I’ve only used the vacuum normally. This is concerning because a vacuum should not be generating enough heat for parts of the head to melt. For the price, I expected much better durability and definitely didn’t expect something like this to happen. I’m now concerned about continuing to use it and will be contacting the manufacturer regarding the warranty.

Works well, we'll see about reliability!
Pros: • Easy to wheel around with actual wheels. • Good suction and it appears to have very good filtration. • I like the bare floor mode and carpet mode ability. • Large dirt bin. • Dual rollers in the power head do a good job with dirt & debris. • Battery life is good and it came with two batteries so you have the ability to swap out batteries if one runs out during use. Cons: • Very top heavy – will not stand on its own unless folded into storage mode • Storage mode forces you to bend down to unlatch and grab the power unit to fold it back up to upright position • No utensil storage on the unit. • Doesn’t have a way to hang it on the wall – must fold into storage mode. • “No Touch” dust bin is definitely NOT no touch. Due to a piece that sticks into the bin from the lid of the bin, pet hair and debris wraps around the piece and you have to manually pull the debris off the piece. We'll see about reliability - the Dyson models that I've used in the past were expensive and suffered from poor reliability and longevity. So, after using the vac for a week or two, some comments are: cleans well; battery life is OK but I can definitely understand why the unit ships with two batteries; the two floor rollers do NOT stay clean of pet hair and certain debris. One thing the Dyson floor rollers were very good at was staying clean and untangled. Dyson has combs built into the roller housing that do a great job of cleaning pet hair and such off the roller. Our dog brings in pieces of grass, especially now that the grass is starting to go dormant. We're talking inch and a half or two inch pieces of grass. These can get trapped in the second roller which is NOT removable. The user manual says to put the vacuum into rug mode, which increases the speed of the rollers, and turn it to high suction mode to try and rid the roller of debris. That works, to a degree. See the attached photo.

Really great
Really great ! Shark will put Dyson out of business with this vacuum cleaner. I own both and dollar for dollar this wins big. Very powerful , great headlight , love the bending to get under bed and furniture. Love digital display , love two batteries provided. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase . Dyson is done!

It’s ok. See 2025 update battery already needs replacing and it’s $92 per battery!
I have a powered Shark and I love it. This cordless model is ok. I don’t get the hype with these cordless vacuums… It does pick up ok on the Med speed but I find it misses some stuff that my powered Shark would not. I find I have to use the high power to get it to pick it up (and that drains the battery VERY fast). I don’t like the feel off the vacuum. It doesn’t run smoothly (I suspect it’s the fins underneath causing this). I have to make sure to vacuum in certain directions to get the vacuum to work best. Also after vacuuming my carpet, it just doesn’t look vacuumed. I am used to seeing vacuum lines in my carpet and there is none. Those lines imo meant the suction was good. I NEVER see vacuum lines after using this cordless vacuum. It does pick up stuff because I do have to empty the bin- but I just don’t think these cordless vacuums do as good a job as a plug in vacuum. It’s a shame as I like the portability, the lightness and compactness of the vacuum. I think it would work better on tile/wood floors. Now let’s talk about the battery charge… a HUGE selling point for me was the addition of a second battery and the ability to remove it to charge. I would NEVER recommend anyone not having a second battery when purchasing ANY cordless vacuum. The battery runs out pretty quick esp if you use the highest power setting. That setting really should only be used once in a while as it drains the battery VERY quickly. I use the med setting only (low setting is a waste of time imo) and occasionally the high. I use a battery and a 1/2 for about 1200 Sq foot. If I only had 1 battery I would have to wait 2-3 hours for it to recharge to finish my home. The things I like about this vacuum was the attachments, extra battery, method of charging and how compact it is. I also like that I can vacuum under my couch because of how compact it is. This vacuum can also be used as a hand held- because of the attachments it can be used to vacuum ur car (if you live where there is no power outlet access, like and apartment, this will be great). The thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t stand up on its own when the battery is on which can be annoying. I kept the vacuum but will still hang on to my powered vacuum. I was really hoping to replace my larger plug in vacuum with this. Just one more thing to take up space…. It’s Nov 2025- this product is now almost 3 years old and is no longer holding a charge for long. I would think the battery would last longer than 3 years esp if a replacement battery is $92 for one and I need 2. I have a shark powered vacuum and it’s been going for way over 10 years- still strong. I understand batteries die over time but to only last 2 years 11 month is a not acceptable for an expensive vaccumm. Cordless vacuums are all the rage but I’m better off sticking to a power vacuum. I can’t imagine spending over $200 for a battery.
