Facial Cleansing Brush - Natural Bristle Wood Handle

I have a problem following beauty routines. I get busy and whatever it was I thought I would do, just doesn't get done. I used the Clarisonic brush for quite awhile and couldn't tell that it did anything for me. I love the oil cleansing method when I have time to do it...but when I don't, I do try to use this brush for exfoliation. I use mineral makeup and flakey skin shows up horribly. This brush is a little stiff but not too bad. It does what I want it to (exfoliation). I haven't used it consistently enough to see a plethora of dry brushing benefits, but hope to in the future. I read to get it wet if it were too stiff, WOW!!!!!! It really is boar bristles! And my brush bristles must have come from a malodorous old boar! The smell stayed with me for a long, long time. I learned my lesson and think my brush is quite lovely as a dry brush. I have had some bristle shedding, but not enough to be concerned about. For the price and quality, I highly recommend this brush. I can also state with absolute certainty that this brush is truly natural bristle but get it wet at your own risk!

I love the feel of this brush. The beveled edges make it especially comfortable in my hand. The bristles are natural and pretty firm. If that is what you looking for, you’ve found it. I found it a bit firm for my sensitive skin, so I have to be extra gentle which I don’t mind. I have used it wet and it was lovely. The warm water softens it some. I haven’t had any shedding and there is no unpleasant smell. Lovely brush that makes me feel pretty just to pick it up.

Have wanted one of these for years. Finally broke down and got myself one. Fell in love at first use. Cleans my face well. It is not scratchy nor stiff. It’s just right. Soft enough to feel good, firm enough to do its job. The best part is my face and neck feel smooth and soft after using and I don’t have a cleanser film feeling.

I dry brush my body and have had amazing results. I figured it would do the same for my face. I wet the brush as suggested for my first use and I did not like that. It was way too soft. Now I only use it dry. I started off and actually continue to dry brush every other day. The first few times my face turned burning red a few hours after the dry brush. This lasted for maybe 2 days. It felt like I had applied retinol to my entire face or got a sunburn. I kept going. I got a few pimples. I kept going. My pimples have healed and now my skin is dry and peeling in some places. Exact same reaction as I had to retinol. (Prescription retinol cream). I started to use argon oil on the peeling skin and that has helped. My skin is so soft and when the peeling settles down and it will my skin will be new and lovely. I no longer get red from the dry brushing and I am not getting pimples. It’s probably been two weeks of use. I don’t see much of a difference in my pores, (I have a magnifying mirror). My face feels tighter yet softer. My goal was to nix some of the slack in my skin and maybe help loosen up some wrinkles. I see improvement in my laugh lines but not forehead wrinkles. Pretty sure the skin is now leather on my forehead so that may take some time. Also gently working on eye wrinkles. The goal is to just get some blood circulation to that area. As a result my under eye area has seen less fluid accumulation ie bags. I love the idea and this brush is working well for me. It’s the only Facial brush I have tried so I have no comparison. I think the stiffness of the brush dry is perfect. Wet it was too soft for my 45 year old weathered skin.

This brush is great. Don't believe the one star reviews. Number 1: The bristles should be firm. It SHOULD FEEL a bit rough on your face. That's how you know it's exfoliating for you. If want a weak and soft brush go to Target or TJMax and pay half the price, but you won't get a deep clean. You get what you pay for. This brush is worth the value. Number 2: DO NOT GET YOU BRUSH WET. The whole point of the brush is to GET DEAD SKIN OFF YOU FACE WHEN ITS DRY, then go wash off any left overs.

This brush didn’t meet my expectations. The bristles shed a lot, leaving long hairs on my face every time I used it. They weren’t very soft, and it has a noticeable smell that didn’t go away even after washing. I tried it on my face a few times, but it probably isn’t the right option for me. I’ll keep looking for something softer and more reliable.

Great cleansing and exfoliation. Works well with my liquid face soap as well as bar soap. Highly recommend.

This brush is amazing for dry-brushing the face and chest. Yes it is a stiff bristle brush, but that's the point! Gentle strokes on the face an neck help to buff dry skin and encourage circulation. I follow the brush with warm water and some tallow balm and my skin has never looked better or felt softer!
