I accidentally answered yes, but it actually does NOT have a tilt head.

Do I have to buy attachments specific to this model or will any Kitchenaid attachment fit?

Some may be specific to this model given that it has a 6 qt. Bowl. Some may work, such as perhaps a grinder attachment. Check with KA to be sure.

Does it come with instruction manual? I just bought one and it has no owner's manual in it. And the beater and the hook looked scratched up.

Yes, it came with a manual. If it is defective in any way (beater and hook scratched up) contact Amazon, they have great customer service and they are great at getting items replaced.
