Good everyday shoe, not ideal for sports or intense workouts.
Apparently this is the hot style for the middle school crowd this season so we just had to have them. They are a nice looking shoe!Sizing is accurate. He says they are comfortable, no complaints there. They are not heavy which is good for an everyday shoe. Easy to slip into and the top lacing hole actually has 4 different positions to choose from depending on how tight you like it on your ankle, I suppose.I wouldn't call this an athletic sneaker, more of a casual everyday street shoe with a flat bottom, similar to Sambas. There's no substantial cushioning inside like you'd find with a running shoe. We have more comfortable sneakers that are used for Phys Ed class and indoor sports. Though there is good traction on the soles.It's been about two weeks of wear and tear now, with no signs of distress on the shoe. All the seams are holding steady. I've had to wipe the white parts clean which is easy enough on smooth leather.
