Crucial 64GB DDR5 RAM Kit (2x32GB), 4800MHz CL40 Desktop Memory, UDIMM 288-Pin, Compatible with 13th Gen Intel Core and AMD Ryzen 7000 - CT2K32G48C40U5

I use these Crucial RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR5 4800MT/s CL40 Desktop Memory CT2K32G48C40U5 modules (4 of them) a with Corsair RM1000x (2021) Fully Modular ATX Power Supply in a Phanteks Enthoo Pro Full Tower Chassis without Window Cases PH-ES614PC_BK in service for about one year as I write this review. For the most part, assembly was very easy. I do video editing, audio editing, streaming, wordprocessing, browsing and email with my setup. I use all of my SATA ports and even have a plug-in eSATA card for more ports. So most of my drive bays are filled. The dram and everything I have connected to my power supply and motherboard has been rock solid stable, and the case holds in all together. It just works exactly the way I want and have no anomalies. The power supply, motherboard and all components run cool in the case with an i7-13700K CPU, 128 GB of Crucial DDR5-4800 that is clocked at 5200 automatically set by the motherboard itself. My video card is a the very modest ASUS GeForce GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 HDMI DVI Graphics Card (GT1030-2G-CSM) because I transitioned my ancient setup from MBR to GPT and needed to be able to boot the old system in the new motherboard before updating the Windows 10 Pro config to GPT UEFI and still be able to boot legacy devices. Everything just worked like a Swiss Chronograph. I strongly recommend this dram, the power supply, the case, the ASUS ProArt Z790-Creator WiFi 6E LGA 1700, the Asus video card, and am also recommending the Crucial MX500 SATA drives and Intel i7-13700K I use. Is all of this the fastest? I have no idea. Does it boot and work reliably everytime so far? Absolutely!

RAM is something you can't really have enough of. So with the price of it these days, I like to max out a new PC. If you're someone that likes running virtual machines that you'd dedicate a decent amount of RAM to, if you do heavy gaming or video editing, if you find yourself with A LOT of applications open -- a lot of time you're limited by RAM and can "feel" the system starved for memory. 64gb should cover needs for most people. Even with quite a few applications open I sit at 40-50% memory usage. I've had good luck with Crucial brand RAM. It may not always be the "fastest" but reliability counts for something too. Have not had a single issue since I installed this RAM & glad I bought it!

Why I ordered this item: My board only supports DDR5 and I was still running on the stock 16GB stick that came with my prebuilt. 64GB felt like overkill but I do a lot of video editing and Chrome alone eats half my ram most days. Likes: * Popped both sticks in, booted up, and the system saw all 64GB right away with BIOS recognizing it on the first boot. * I flipped on XMP in BIOS and it clocked up to the rated speed on the first try. * My timelines in Premiere scrub a lot smoother now and I can keep like 30 tabs open plus a game running in the background while everything stays quick. * These look snazzy too, the heat spreaders have a nice brushed finish that catches the light nicely in my case. * The sticks have some real heft to them and the heat spreaders feel like actual metal, not thin foil. No likes: * CL40 isn't the fastest timing out there. If your motherboard supports faster kits with tighter timings you might get zippier numbers elsewhere. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: This is a straight upgrade if you're stuck on 16 or 32GB and doing anything heavier than browsing. It hit its rated speed on the first boot on my Ryzen 7000 build, no fiddling with settings, and my timelines scrub without that stutter I used to get with 30 tabs and Premiere open at once.

I buy allot of this configuration and havent had a failure yet. Works great on the Dell systems that we buy.

Installed in XPS desktop. Had to remove original memory, it did not want to work with the Crucial. AM buying 2 more to fill the slots.

I wanted 128GB RAM for AI work on my Aurora R15. The Alienware motherboard, however, throttles a 128GB RAM configuration to 3600MHZ, and does not allow XMP, so these were perfect as faster chips would just not be used optimally and would have been a waste of money. I took out the stock RAM, plugged these in, turned the computer back on, voilá. No fuss. Before, running Flux AI on my computer was almost impossible, but now I can even it with other applications open. Highly recommended! By the way, you're supposed to be able to increase the speed of these through the Alienware Command Center, but I haven't tried that.

label says Crucial, but the BIOS and HW info say Micron (now crucial is owned by Micron). i bought Crucial from some other place, and it is properly identified as Crucial but those are identified as Micron I doubt Crucial/Micron will make a mistake with the branding when programming the sticks. Anyway, I will not buy again; I'd better buy from somewhere else where they have a better batch.

So far I am getting superb results from this RAM, with both desktop apps and gaming, and the only thing I wish was different would be some heatsinks, but I guess they probably sell the same RAM with heatsinks for more money. I just didn't look at the description well enough before purchasing it, as I thought they were just showing the inside of the RAM to show you the chips or something. But having some add-on heat spreaders from Crucial that fit this particular RAM would have been nice too.

Good Ram with affordable price

Ho installato queste RAM DDR5, due moduli da 32GB ciascuno, sulla mia scheda madre ASUS ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming WiFi, e la compatibilità è perfetta. L’installazione è stata facile e, messe in coppia per un totale di 64GB, queste RAM offrono prestazioni incredibili. Le utilizzo principalmente per il gaming, e il miglioramento in termini di velocità e fluidità è notevole. I tempi di caricamento sono rapidissimi e le prestazioni rimangono elevate anche con i giochi più esigenti. La capacità da 64GB permette inoltre di gestire senza problemi il multitasking e applicazioni pesanti. Consiglio queste RAM a chiunque voglia portare la propria esperienza di gioco al livello successivo!
