This is one of the best tools I have brought -brought to take a tree down -it just keeps going -light -easy to use and safe -brilliant -no trouble going through 8 inch stump

Light weight. ready Assembled from the case and ready to go. Complete with a spare chain, required tools, etc.Surprisingly good at such a price point.The only downside so far is the longevity of the batteries, although one can be on charge whilst the other is charging. This is not a big issue for me as I have several Makita tools and the batteries are interchangeable (not inter-chargeable).Very happy with purchase.Edit…February 2024 ..Unfortunately it has now died and has been sent off to the recycling centre. Have replaced it with a more expensive branded product which is working very well.

I've given this mini chainsaw a thorough testing over the last 5 months, especially since I'd read some negative comments. I'm happy to say that the saw worked flawlessly. The particular advantage for me was the light weight which enabled me to climb my fruit trees and work one-handedly, something I would never have considered, on safety grounds, with my full size chainsaw. There is, of course, a trade-off in terms of cutting ability, but the saw managed to cut all the branches and boughs I needed to prune: it does need to be running at full speed before contact is made, and it does require some care in the positioning of the blade next to the wood, but I was pleased with the performance and although I wore proper safety gear, at no point did I have concerns about the saw's behaviour. I was impressed with the longevity of the batteries and to have 2 batteries was a real bonus. There's a handy little toolkit and even some gloves (which do not seem to be safety gloves, so I wore my own). If you compare this saw with a full-sized one, there are obviously compromises and little details which users might find less than perfect, but for the price, I think that it's hard to beat: it's not a professional machine but is ideal for the occasional user who is into pruning, rather than tree-felling. I have to confess that I was prepared to find fault with this saw, but I was happy to be proved wrong. If there is anything which I would add to the kit, it would be a small file for sharpening.

Before today I would have given this 5 stars as it has been absolutely brilliant, coping with tough, thick stems and it is so convenient to use. The loss of one star is that today, half way through a job, it stopped working. Changing the battery made no difference, charging the battery, to make sure it was actually fully charged, made no difference. I assume/hope that some sort of warranty is in place and if a repair/replacement can be arranged the 5th star will be replaced. 5 stars restored !! Refunded very promptly and I have re-ordered because this really is a great product. Hopefully it will last more than 6 months this time.

We didn't have high expectations of this for the price but it works incredibly well. My husband and I have cleared a large area of overgrown ivy and vegetation on a wall with it. It cuts through ivy and stems several inches thick with ease. You do need to watch out for ivy stems getting caught up inside and clear them but that is to be expected. It cuts through branches 3 - 4 inches with ease and would probably tackle thicker stems but I found that using it for this required a strength to hold it that I found difficult, and we had an electric chainsaw on hand to use for that. The chain doesn't last particularly long but with a fresh chain it eats through most things. The battery lasts forever, by the time it had run down we were ready for a cup of tea and there is always the second battery if you want to carry on. A really useful bit of kit. The only downside I found was remembering to always make sure the switch to prevent it being turned on by accident has been pushed when you put it down.It stopped working a day or two after we had owned it for 12 months. One moment it was cutting well, the next it was dead. Batteries fully charged and no obvious reason. I assume it was a 12 month warranty, and now no longer available.

I love my mini chainsaw! For the price point it is fantastic.There are a few things that I would change though.The screw driver provided for tightening the chain is too short in length to manoeuvre easily and you end up knocking the chain housing off or mis-aligning the screw.The box it comes in doesn't quite fit everything neatly (not a massive problem as it does all fit in, albeit haphazardly!).One of my batteries has already died within 1 month, but I have requested a replacement.The gloves supplied don't even stand up to bramble thorns so I'm not sure how protective of a chainsaw they would be! Again, not a massive problem for me as I had a pair of more heavy duty gloves anyway.All in all, for the price a great little tool!

Got this as I needed some branches looping in my garden, easy to assemble, you get a good charge off the battery, great product does the job even got through some thicker trunks.Would highly recommend

Bought for larger branches in my trees. Easy to use and feels safe. Comes with battery and accessories. Used only once up to now but found the handle is easy to grip and ergonomically ideal for use. Battery seems to give good life till recharge. Glad I Purchased this particular model.

Ottimo prodotto. Avevo bisogno di tagliare molta legna di media grossezza da 4 a 10 cm di diametro. Pur avendo una piccola motosega a scoppio della Castor non sarebbe stato facile manovrarla. Ho pensato quindi di a questo prodotto in recensione e sono molto soddisfatto. Il prodotto è piccolo e leggero ma io svolge egregiamente il suo lavoro. Vediamo i punti di forza: la lunghezza della lama che è di 6 pollici e non di 4 come molte altre e non è un pregio da poco per affrontare pezzi di legno di un certo diametro. Il secondo pregio è la doppia batteria a corredo di 2000ma. Finita la prima, possiamo mettere la seconda consentendo un lavoro di più di un ora (che non è poco). La ricarica di ciascuna batteria con l'accluso caricabatteria dura un paio d'ore. Passiamo al terzo pregio che riguarda la leggerezza della mini motosega a batteria e la sua efficienza nel lavoro. Senza paragoni. Prodotto promosso a pieni voti. Un' ultima annotazione. Il venditore è gentile e soprattutto disponibile. La sig.ra Anna Bravolu mi ha risolto con cura e prontezza un problema relativo alla batteria. Complimenti. 5 stelle su tutto il fronte. P.s. aggiungo, poiché l'avevo dimenticato, un particolare importante: il tendicatena e la catena rimangono tesi ed efficienti senza mai allentarsi per tutto il tempo del lavoro. Ottimo prodotto, non si riesce più a farne a meno , una volta provato!

J'avais déjà une tronçonneuse thermique et un élagueur électrique sur tige. Il me manquait une mini-tronçonneuse à main légère. Celle-ci remplit efficacement cette fonction. J'ai fait 60 minutes de coupe de branches de 1 à 6 cm de diamètre par temps froid et aucun problème avec la même batterie. Le fait d'en avoir 2 et 2 chaines est très confortable. La mallette est un plus appréciable, même si elle ne semble pas être faite pour cet appareil. Il faut voir maintenant la durabilité, notamment de la chaîne car il n'y a pas de système de graissage automatique.

Maniobrable y fácil de usar. Perfecto para pequeñas ramas y lugares donde és difícil llgar con otras erramientas. La potencia y la duración de la bateria son acordes al precio y la calidad del producto. Para usos no intensivos és la herramienta ideal. Vale la pena mirar las reseñas y videos de youtube para aprender su funcionamiento y montage, así como la limpieza y engrase de la cadena.

Hallo, habe im Mai 2022 von Ihnen diese Kettensäge gekauft. Habe sie 6mal benutzt. Wollte sie jetzt wieder benutzen, sind aber beide Akkus nicht mehr ladebar. Habe sie von einen Elektriker anschauen lassen, der mir bestätigte, das beide Akkus den Geist aufgegeben haben. Habe ich darauf noch eine Garantie? MfG Zirzlmeier
