Works Great, Soft and Volume
Finally, something that works for me. I broke down and decided to do some research on what would be a good product for me. This was very highly ranked and one of the mire affordable brands among much, much more expensive brands. I’m a 37 year old blonde man with medium length hair. I usually find that most shampoos either leave my hair flat and oily or dry and poofy. This stuff gives the look and feel I’ve been wanting. Soft and shiny but with some volume but not too much.I also read it’s supposed to be good for hair loss. But I haven’t been using it long enough to comment on that. It does seem take a bit longer for my hair to get oily. I’m forced to wear a hat at work and I get sweaty sometimes, so my hair is wrecked when I get home. But it’s not quite as bad and it’s in better shape in the morning if I shampoo before bed.My only complaint is the scent is potent. I can’t smell it once it’s on my head, but straight out of the bottle it’s got a strong smell. The scent is a like a cheap perfume, but it doesn’t bother me since I can’t really smell it.I only use the shampoo, I don’t like using conditioner. I don’t really need it. My daughter has been using this shampoo as well and she says she likes it, but she hasn’t been using it long enough to comment on how well it performs for her. If she keeps using it I may edit my review. The consistency of this shampoo is quite thick and stringy and it provides a good thick lather upon application. Ordinarily I don’t use a lot of shampoo, but I’ve found it works better if I use a generous amount of this stuff.

Great shampoo (+ conditioner!)
This L'Oreal Paris Hair Care Expert Extraordinary Clay Shampoo's promise to "instantly purify oily roots and hydrate dry lengths without weigh down" had me intrigued. So much so, that I also ordered the coordinating conditioner ( L'Oreal Paris Hair Care Expert Extraordinary Clay Conditioner, 12.6 Fluid Ounce ) to give the "system" a real try. Both have a really fresh, clean scent without being overly floral or fruity. The shampoo has a nice, foamy lather and has a squeaky-clean rinse. I followed the directions for the shampoo: massage into wet hair, lather, rinse, followed with the conditioner. This duo seems to coat/moisturize my hair well, and it has good detangling properties because my unruly hair combs through pretty easily after use. It did seem to follow through with the promised results: my scalp wasn't oily and my ends weren't dry, and there was noticeably less frizz. My hair feels lighter, and I was able to go 48+ hours without needing another wash -- I really want to give the dry-shampoo a try, now!

Did great job on hair and left pleasant smell for two days.
I got it per my friend recommendation as sometimes I have a buildup on my hair left by my daily shampoo. This shampoo did pretty good job removing all residues and left the hair nice and shinny.I normally don't buy things with fragrance in them and I wish they had a fragrance free optionbut the smell is not bad, it was quite surprising to still smell it two days after I used it to wash my hair.Price is very friendly and the packaging cooperates with the user. It is easy to open and pourand stays put where you leave it.I am going to keep it as my second shampoo as it is always good to rotate the shampoo as eachone will do good job removing the build up of the other. While I intend to use it few times a month or soI think it is still worth keeping.I like products containing natural Clays as they tend to do good job balancing the oils and acidity of the scalp helping the roots to regulate oil production and result in the hair that does not get overly oily.Overall happy with it.

Good - but be careful about a few things
1. MY HAIRI have oily roots + dry hair, and at times, there's some buildup on my scalp. I've been researching a lot about shampoos and conditioners and what is the best way to take care of my hair.2. INITIAL THOUGHTSThis is an incredible shampoo + its accompanying conditioner, it cleans my scalp and leaves my hair really soft. Usually, the day I shampoo, my hair is quite dry and is a mess but the next day my hair starts looking better. It leaves hair soft and clean for a long time. With other shampoos, I felt my hair was always 'heavy' and dull but not with this. You can probably go without shampooing for a few days. This shampoo contains COCO-BETAINE, which is a gentle cleanser.3. BE CAREFUL THOUGH - THE SHAMPOOI've been reading about sulfates and silicones in shampoos/conditioners and how people are avoiding these harsh ingredients and reaching for sulfate-free and silicone-free products. Even though this product is silicone-free, it still has SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, which, you guessed it right, is a sulfate. (See the picture I've attached).4. BE CAREFUL THOUGH - THE CONDITIONERThe accompanying conditioner contains ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL, which is a drying alcohol one should avoid. It also contains CETEARYL ALCOHOL, which is good moisturizing alcohol. (See the picture I've attached). After using this product for a few weeks, I think what's happening is that it's drying out my scalp a bit and because of that, my scalp is producing natural oil to compensate, which is leading to build up and more oily-ness on my scalp.5. YOU DO YOUThese points may not be valid to you if you don't care much about ingredients and this product is working well for you. I just wanted to give a summary of how I've started to read labels and how I choose products.6. HELPFUL INFOThere are also some brilliant concepts like CO-WASHING (sulfate-free conditioner-washing) and LOW-POO (using gentle, sulfate-free shampoo), you can Google more about these. These methods have changed people's hair for the better and they even claimed their hair does not flake, itch, or get oily as it did before.
