Can this be connected to a USB plug and into a wall sockets/mains?

It comes with a USB A lead to connect to power, via either a PC USB port or a mains USB adapter, as you want to do. Key thing is - don't forget to power off when you close down your PC - to save owner and prolong the life of the cooler stand.
