Part alone is great, but seller ad is misleading - you ALSO NEED 1156A bulbs
The fit is great, and changes the look in a positive way. My Alpine White '03 E46 ZHP Sedan already had Depo euro tail and turn indicators, so this really completes the look. The black backing matches the OEM ZHP black backed headlights. Installation was easy, swapping over the metal retainer rings and housing, and they slipped right into position in a moment. However, The ad clearly states in several areas, "Plug and play - Just transfer stock bulbs and sockets, making for a quick and easy DIY install." But... if you have the OEM light housing, your bulbs are clear 1156 bulbs. You will need to get amber-coated 1156A bulbs to use these turn signals and comply with traffic laws and common sense. Turn signals are amber, not clear.

Perfect fit. Ebay lenses flew off on highway
These fit perfect on my 2001 BMW 330xi E46. Just a few months ago I installed clear lenses from eBay with no bulb or socket. They didn't fit or lock into place and the driver side flew off when I was on the highway. I noticed that the locking tab on the Ebay ones were 6mm shorter than these Depo which is why they didn't lock into place. These installed in minutes and I was pleasantly surprised to find them come with bulbs and sockets.
