This is one of those products that just became more and more difficult to buy the more reviews I read. It seems that a lot of people had nothing but success, and others it just didn't work out for (probably because they didn't follow instructions properly.)Despite having a fairly pronounced over bite, these work great for me. I needed a mouth guard for sleeping at night, the intense grinding of my teeth caused tremendous head, neck, and jaw pain. Fitting was tricky because of my before mentioned over bite. While fitting, I aligned my jaw before biting down like the instructions told me, and the fitting worked great. However, my jaw doesn't seat entirely even while wearing it because of this. Next time I probably won't align my jaw entirely. Aside from that, it has a great retentive fit and I'm in much less pain!

Worked so much better then I expected! I got it molded almost perfectly on my first try and the instructions are super easy to follow! Slept through the night with no problems, which I was concerned about since I had never used a mouth guard before but after a few tiny trims it was perfect!

Happy with product, after making the impression, had to cut some excess off but not a big deal. Have had others form walmart etc and these are the same and better than some others, plus much more reasonable. Would purchase again.

Works good and easy to make. I have been biting through mine so I've ordered it 3x ..but better than the expensive ones at the denist

I purchased these because I grind my teeth in my sleep. They were easy to make and work well. Don't leave them too long in the hot water or the edges start to fold and stick together.

Garbage. It’s a simple everyday sports mouth guard. You can get 20 of these things for like a dollar each. Don’t buy, they don’t help

I've tried a few different gaurds in the past and really like this one. The instructions are a little more detailed which is nice since I always had a few questions about the process and the instructions answered them. Fits really well and doesn't fall out or move around at night.

Easy to mold...clear instructions...comfortable...I use them nightly!

Nothing good to say. Cowboy company with no safety certifications trying to flog well meaning people ab inferior and untested lump of plastic.

My dentist wanted to charge me $600 for a custom mouth guard!! That's right - as bad as taking your car to a mechanic, or speaking with a lawyer... very greedy to say the least! This product - boil some water, place item in the water for 15 seconds or until the item looks like it is starting to curl and soften. Remove with care, let sit for about 3 to 5 seconds then place in mouth over upper teeth. Suck out the air using your mouth and tongue to create vacuum. Then slowly and "gently bit down normally just enough to make an impression. Hold this until the item cools and then remove and place in cold water until it has fully hardened. Do not bite down too hard, you only want to make an impression, not pierce the membrane. Make sure to use your fingers to form fit the item to you teeth but the vacuum procedure should ensure that you get a form fit. This one item should last a lifetime and you get three mouth guards, so three lifetimes. And the price sure beats the dentists! I highly recommend this product.

The product was nicely packaged with easy to follow directions. Since it was my first time, I feel I could have done a tad better molding it to my teeth but thats on me. My recommendation is to read the entire instruction pamphlet BEFORE attempting it, not just during the process. It didn't take long which is a bonus. It will be my first time trying it tonight, but it feels comfortable in my mouth even when I bite down so I think it will be ok. Ot even only took 1 day to get here. For these reasons it gets a 4/5. Will edit if that changes.

This is great only if you do it correctly and likely you will not, but there are 3 in the package. Presume your first one you will do wrong and hopefully get your second one right.I first trimmed about 1/3 of it off. Then follow the directions exactly! The exception being do not bite down. Pretend you are gently biting a baby's hand to play, no more!I suggest you do a practice run first. Most people who get it wrong bite too hard when forming it or, IMHO, do not trim enough off for it to be comfortable.I messed up my first one, my second one is much better but I still bit a bit too hard.These are great if you trim, follow the instructions and put almost no pressure down when u bite. Remember, if u bite too hard it's ruined. If you bite too gentle (doubtful) you can hear it again and try again.You can also trim after then if there are uncomfortable edges, heat it again then very gently reform it again.If you do it right this works amazingly well and is quite comfortable! Don't worry if you toast your first one, it is softer than you think! If it wears out quick chances are you bit too hard when forming it. If it's uncomfortable you probably need to trim it better.Remember, do a trial run first without heating it.

These mouth guards are amazing! My boyfriend grinds his teeth constantly when he is sleeping. He orginally had dental grind guards which were very, very expensive. His dog chewed it up after he left it out. I looked on Amazon and tried another similar product before this one which was bulkier and harder to mould to his teeth.These mouth guards are very easy to mould. He loves them and the fact they come in a pack of three is great because he loses things very easily! Definitely will purchase again in the future.
