When I was researching the active ingredient, I saw that there’s a Her’s version that’s half as potent and applied twice daily. As I already struggled with oily scalp, doing a twice daily treatment was concerning. Luckily, there are studies showing that there’s no difference in effectiveness between 5% once daily and 2.5% twice daily for women! And the results speak for themselves. Great for women with PCOS and male-patterned hairline recession! Now, this doesn’t work only on your head hair. I learned the hard way that if it dripped down my face or I slept on it at night, my peach fuzz started to grow darker and thicker, too. I found best results by dipping a q-tip into the oil and dabbing it along my hairline and thin areas, then putting on a silk bonnet overnight to keep the oil contained. Results can take time, and you have to be super consistent or it starts to fade away again. But for the dedicated, this can be life changing.

SCAM! This fraudulent company does not disclose this product is ONLY for a small circle section vortex of the scalp. not for fuller hair like advertised for the front, just a small circle ( the usual bald spot for older men ) just wasted my money, because they run fraudulent ads with dishonest taste. save your money

I love this product minus the dandruff that I get. I used to wash my hair once a week but now I have to wash it 2 to 3 times per week because of dirt buildup and dandruff. My hair looks dirty. I don’t know why ? This is why I gave her four stars instead of the five, but it does what it’s intended to do. I have thicker, fuller hair in just three months. Has anybody else experience the same thing like me with this dandruff, dirty, looking hair? Another side effect that I’m getting is that I’m getting hair in my face.. and I’m hairier all over. I’d rather deal with this side effects than my hair falling out and getting bald spots though.. I wish I could minimize the side effects.

Works well and super easy to use with a roller ball applicator. However, it is SO DRYING. I’ve never had issues with dandruff before, but my whole scalp flaked off after about a month of using this consistently. The same issue has not happened with a foam formula. If you have a naturally oily scalp, this would be a good match for you. Otherwise, normal/dry scalps should stick to the foam instead.

Shocked this product works. I’ve been using this since March 2025. This is Not a paid advertisement or received by promotion. As of June 15 the photos below are my results. If you’re thinning or thinking of a transplant, I suggest this first. I use a dropper full twice a day. I’m the morning and before bed. I did have slight irritation the first month(dry skin and itchy ears) but since then no side effects. Great product. Need a brand ambassador? Il all for it!

Takes about two months for clear results. I use Hims every night, microneedle stamp 0.5, and use Actiiv shampoo every few days. To be exact, order of operations: 1-Actiiv Shampoo 5 minutes 2- Microneedle every few days 0.5mm (it’s uncomfortable, but the results are well worth it) 3- Hims I use about half the amount more than recommended application. But I also apply it to other areas than just the crown area. Yes, I personally recommend this product. I have recently been getting compliments from my wife and close family that notice. So, that feels pretty good! However, understand that once you stop, it all goes right back to where you were naturally thinning. So before you commit to this, make sure you are aware of the required dedication and consequences. 🍻
