I have these on subscription. Been coloring my own hair for 40 years. That's a lot of experience! This is my favorite hair color. The results are always the same, I get subtle highlights and shine that doesn't scream flat-DIY- color! My husband loves the way my hair smells. I color my roots about every four weeks. BTW I use the JUSRON triple fold, over- the -door mirror to see the back of my head. Other hair colors are flat color or fade quickly or don't feel as silky.This brand is my favorite: easy and forgiving, gentle to my hair.

A lot of people overlook Miss Clairol because it's been around a long time and appears "OLD FASHIONED". Guess what? It leaves beautiful color variations in your hair. It's formula adds enough variety to give you NATURAL looking hair. THAT is why I swear by it and will always come back to it. My mother started using it in the 60's and I use it in my 60's. Perfect every time and saves GOBS of money! It works beautifully! I do my roots in this color and use the highlight kit to add "lights" with the total cost being under $30.00 versus $350.00 at the salon. My friends think I go to the salon and are often shocked when I tell them I do it myself, even though I can afford to go to a salon.

I use it works great people don’t realize they can save so much money by doing it themselves. I’ve been doing it myself for years. I always get lots of compliments and people are quite surprised that I do my own hair cut and coloring Highly Recommend getting a home hair color, especially this clairol brand.

It can get dark.

I finally found a hair color that I like: Clairol Nice’n Easy, 5R Medium Auburn!!! The roots come out a little more reddish color than I would like, but that’s normal if you’re coloring over gray regrowth. I use a medium brown root touch-up spray, and you can’t tell there was any difference. It works for me. Btw, my natural hair color is medium brown, with some reddish highlights.There is only one thing that customers need to know, and that is, when you first apply the color, it is purple!!!! (at least mine was.) Don’t let that scare you. It scared me at first, but I took a chance anyway , & my hair color came out a copper/cinnamon shade that I’ve been looking for, for a very long time!I don’t know why the solution is purple, but the end result is fantastic!!!!

I'm a natural redhead. I often have people ask me if this color is my natural color. I love to keep them guessing. The color lasts through multiple washes. I color every 6 weeks to cover new regrowth and it matches the other color beautifully.

I was happy with how the color turned out. It gave my hair a nice, natural-looking blonde shade and covered evenly without looking too harsh. The instructions were easy to follow, and the application was pretty straightforward. My hair also felt soft afterward, which was a nice surprise. The only downside is that the smell is a little strong during application, but overall I’m very pleased with the results and would use it again.

I used to use these hair dyes often but since I started going to the salon this box dye just isn’t good enough anymore. My hair was still brown and didn’t lighten much.
