acheter pour remplacer un épilateur que mon épouse utilisait depuis plus de 10 ans, elle en est très satisfaite. Attention celui que j'ai reçu avait une prise anglaise, j'ai retiré une étoile pour cela ... donc j'ai conservé l'alimentation du précèdent

Poor Design and Ineffective Hair Removal
I have never returned a product, but unfortunately, this has to be returned and will remain one of the worst products I have purchased. This epilator was frustrating to use from the very beginning. The protective cap kept coming off with almost every slide, making the process inconvenient and uncomfortable. Even worse, it took several passes to remove hair in one area and even then, it failed to pick up thinner hairs. The result was far from the smooth, flawless finish I was hoping for. I expected more precision and reliability from a brand like Philips. Sadly, this product falls short in both design and performance. BTW I also bought the facial hair removal 5000 series and returning both.

Good, especially the smaller attachments
My last epilator lasted over a decade, so when it finally started to become unreliable, I began the search for it's replacement. I had originally thought a cordless, wet/dry one was what I wanted. However, they were very costly and I couldn't decide which one was the "best" to invest in. In the end I spotted this very reasonably priced corded, dry epilator and decided to break the analysis paralysis by going for something different. It does a good job, no better no worse than my last one. I love the variety of attachments, it means I can do the bikini area much easier than my last one which didn't have the smaller attachments. It's easy to clean as I just remove the attachment and give it a rinse. The only thing I've noticed is that since I've started using it in my legs I get more trapped hairs than compared to shaving, so I have to exfoliate twice a week. I also have to use it every few days on my legs.
