Cat didn’t like it, needs to attach more firmly to couch
Unfortunately this item did not work to make my cat scratch this instead of the couch. It just made him scratch other furniture and the couch elsewhere. I purchased 2 but neither works.

Saved My Couch
My cat Ginger LOVES to scratch where she's not supposed to scratch, so this natural sisal furniture protector was a must have item. She looks super smug and satisfied scratching away as she looks right at me thinking, "I'll tear up this couch you silly human!"Very easy to "install" - took less than 30 seconds. Well crafted with quality materials and appears it will last for years and years. Designed to fit most couches and chairs. Secures with velcro straps.Both Ginger and I have had a positive experience and recommend this product. As an extra bonus, Ginger likes to sit in the Amazon box. And my wife said I did good, too, so now I get a treat too.

Life saverrrrrr definitely worth it
Bought a brand new $1200 couch and despite my cat having at least 10 different scratch pads, a car tower, and other things to scratch she wanted the new couch. So we bought this and we all love it. None of us have to stop her from doing what she wants and it saves the couch. We have had it for a good little while and it has held up great doesn't show much wear even though she is scratching it multiple times a day. Great buy

CATS SCRATCH THIS NOT THAT NOW!
Strong, Strudy n easy to install. I have 2 kitty’s who love to claw my furniture. They destroyed 1 chair b4 I found these (their) Life Savers :) Buy if u have kitties who love to pamper their Claws. You’ll be happy u did :)

Not exactly as neat looking as the pictures
They are white on the scratching part and then whatever color you chose on the rest. They are not easy to install if your couch has cushion armrests and they don't fit tightly like the picture shows. It does have two velcro strips on the bottom that you can wrap around the couch leg to help hold it snug, but it definitely gaps.BUT, they do seem to work. One of my cats put her feet on it and doesn't like the texture so she didn't scratch at all for the last two days. My other cat who is a heavy scratcher has only done it once in the last two days. They do seem to work and are made well.
