Amazon Basics 27 in IPS Monitor, Full HD 1080P, 75 Hz, Adjustable Stand, HDMI, Display Port, VGA Input, Built-in Speakers, VESA Compatible, Black

I needed a monitor with audio but didn't want to spend a lot and I've used Amazon Basics before for other things, so I thought this was a great deal. At first, I thought, I needed a 32" but the one that I am replacing is 27" so it was a no brainer. I LOVE IT! It has all kinds of settings and has 3 different video inputs and 3 USB inputs, one is the printer type, meant to be a hub. Also an audio in and out which I really like. The hardest part of setting up is the damned box, what is with all the tabs they put on them now!!?? I just tore it open. I had to read the manual only a couple of times as it is set just the way I like it. Most of the hardware assembly is no big deal, you can tell what goes where. Another nice feature is a regular plug, not a power block. You can easily plug into a power strip without taking up 3 outlets. The speaker/s are okay, but not vibrant enough for me. But I have an Altec Lansing speaker which I am using for the sound. Picture is great and it has many options for change if I want. It even has a gaming mode which I don't need but thought I should mention.

I bought this monitor to replace 1 out of 3 of my ASUS monitors, after about 5 years my 3rd ASUS monitor went out for no reason just had a corrupted image. I really like the colors and picture quality of ASUS but I didn't want to pay the ASUS premium for monitor #3. Truthfully you can only game on 1 monitor anyways so there's no point in buying 3 top tier monitors so I figured I would try to budget this time for the monitor that usually is just used for windows anyways. This amazon monitor is the best value in monitors they really knocked it out of the park for the money and size it cannot be beat. I would use this amazon basic monitor as a main gaming monitor provided your ok or aware of the hz and that its only 1080p truthfully there's nothing really wrong with that but it depends on your pc hardware and what your goal is. I play a lot of single player games and for me over 100 hz 1440p (not amazon basic specs) is just fine I am not a pro gamer. if I knew about this monitor when I bought my 2 side ASUS monitors I would have probably bought 2 amazon basic monitors and then just had a center flagship gaming monitor and saved a fortune. This Amazon basics monitor has 4 usb connections!, 1 hdmi, 1 display port (not sure version), dsub, usb 2.0, and speakers! not very good speakers but they exist. The monitor came really well packaged and super speedy! The picture and colors look really good AFTER tweaking or at least for my liking, The colors settings were just ok and I tweaked them and it looks really amazing now. I had to tweak the monitor and then tweak my display settings for that channel on my nvida card because the monitors spectrum of settings wasn't far enough for my liking could just be a ME problem, after the adjustment I think it looks better than my other ASUS left side monitor and about as good as my center top tier monitor with the exception of the top tier monitor having higher resolution and hz. I would definitely consider amazon monitors again next time I go monitor shopping what a value!

Great value! The picture quality is excellent, and the size is perfect. While there are fancier options, this one is just right. It was easy to set up, but I won't use the built-in speakers. I have a good set, and bypassing them was easy. It didn't come with an HDMI cord, but I used my old one. The stand doesn't swivel as much as I'd like, but I can get a different one; it has screws for other stands or wall mounts. Good for the money, and I really like it.

I was using two small monitors for my computer after needing a two monitor set up for remote work in the past and really like it. However, I needed to upgrade to a bigger monitor that I can see better and wanted to not have that space between the screens when going from one monitor to the other. My son got this same monitor a few months ago for gaming and he loves it so I figured I’d get one as well. I love having the bigger screen. I have room to put all of my documents on and still have it big enough to easily see what I’m working on. The monitor looks fine, it works well with my Mac (no issues), it was very easy to set up and connect. I have not had any issues with using it so far and am very pleased with it. It is good and stable, even when I have bumped into the desk the monitor stays put so that is awesome.

I like this monitor overall, especially for the price. The picture is good, colors seem accurate, everything works as I expect so far. I like that it includes a speaker, but I am disappointed in the quality there. I have Asus monitors with speakers that are comparable to TV speakers (so not the best, but perfectly adequate), so I was surprised when these were noticeably bad. They sound tinny and a little echo-y, like a toy speaker inside a box. I don't plan on using this monitor for anything more audio-intensive than watching talky youtube videos, but the sound quality is bad enough that I will probably cave and get dedicated speakers before long.

I needed to buy a couple of monitors to replace some very old ones, like 12-15 years old. I was a little hesitant to try this one because of the low price, but decided to give it a shot, since Amazon's return policy is so good. But no need, it's fantastic. I will admit that my requirements are simple, as in, I'm not a gamer and I am not doing any graphics work. I mostly wanted two features: First, a Display Port input. Check. There are also HDMI and VGA inputs so there's some flexibility if you need that. Second, I wanted a traditional power cable, because so many of the current monitors on the market use a power block, which to me is just something else to go wrong. Check again. I have not used the built-in speakers so I can't comment on that. The image quality is terrific and if I need another monitor at some point this will be my first stop.

I liked the Amazon Basics 24 in monitor I bought for myself so well that I bought this 27 in Amazon Basics for my husband for Fathers Day. I would say it's an excellent monitor for the price, but actually it's an excellent monitor at any price.

Great monitor! Arrived early and packaged well. Great color quality, easy set up and compatible with the HP computer. No complaints and would recommend.
