Listen, I’m not saying HydroMATE Lemon Lime brought me back from the brink of dehydration — but if there were a “Before” and “After” picture, the “Before” would look like beef jerky and the “After” would look like a functioning adult again. These little packets are like life support for anyone who sweats, forgets to drink water, or occasionally wakes up wondering what happened last night (thanks, tequila). The lemon-lime flavor tastes like what Gatorade wishes it could be — crisp, refreshing, and not so sweet it makes your teeth feel like they need to file a complaint. Low sugar, solid electrolytes, and no weird aftertaste. I toss one in my water bottle and suddenly I’m a hydration influencer. My hangovers are less dramatic, my workouts don’t feel like near-death experiences, and even my skin looks a little less “desert cactus.” Basically, it’s like giving your body a pep talk in powder form. 10/10 — will continue to HydroMATE my way through life’s poor decisions.

The fruit punch flavor is really good — not too sweet, not too artificial. It mixes well, keeps me hydrated, and is perfect for daily use. Great value and super refreshing!

I know everyone needs to drink a lot of water however I do not like the taste of water so I’m always on the search for water powders. Well, I think I found my new best friend. It’s refreshing. It’s extremely easy to shake and mix up. I love the fruit punch flavor and I find that after I drink it I just feel better and more awake. I will definitely be ordering more.

I love this flavor. I am not sure if it does any good as a hydrator, but we.love the flavor.

Picked these up in preparation for my first Renaissance Faire. Worked great to stave off dehydration from six days in the sun, and looked much more normal in my tankard than my friends' bright red or orange electrolyte mixes. The small packets are easy to store (all 16 fit in my rucksack side pocket with room for other gear) and the powder dissolves in any temperature water without a gritty feeling or residue. The only "downside" is that they leave a rather strong scent behind in any drinking vessels; while I personally love the smell, it is an overwhelming floral-y peach with a slight artificial aspect... it's comparable to the smell of Brisk brand peach iced tea. These are fairly pricey, but are a little cheaper than other brands (LiquidIV, etc.). However, what really made me pick these is the flavor—I'm incredibly picky about flavors in my water. I personally don't like any of the "normal" flavors like lemon-lime, orange, fruit punch, etc. Peach is my favorite flavor, and the only other peach electrolyte option I've seen only comes in sugar-free and is crazy expensive. While the flavor is a little artificial (especially if you're NOT dehydrated and you get a salty aftertaste), it's still leagues better than any other flavor I've tried. Seriously—they aren't as overly fake sweet as other low-sugar mixes, which makes them taste more like peach with black tea, instead of just plain peach.

Very similar to the other popular brand, but with a little extra for your immune system. Perfect size packets for a large drink of water and the lemon lime is the best flavor on a hot day for hydration. I found out about these from someone doing research on hydration that would not require getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. This worked well for them for that purpose, and for mine do not have to find a restroom out and about when trying to stay hydrated.

I don't usually review things, but the fruit punch is terrible and that is saying a lot coming from me. I can handle most flavors ok, but this one has an aftertaste that is very unpleasant. Do not recommend the fruit punch flavor anyway. Updated - 8/13/25. - I was contacted by customer support to make it right, which is huge in my opinion! Thank you for having great customer service!!
